This paper discusses compression methods focused on data transmission over communication channels. The characteristics of different algorithms for different types of incoming data are analyzed. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the speed of operation of each of the compression algorithms for different types of information and different compression parameters, on the basis of the obtained results to make recommendations for the application of compression methods in systems critical to the performance of the algorithm. Based on the results of the analysis, the methods of compression that can be used in communication channels are selected: LZW, LZH, Vitter and matrix. The practical research of the selected methods on different information flows (text, graphics, measurement data, combined data) was carried out, their comparative analysis was performed. Research has highlighted compression methods that give the most optimal results in each case. Comparative evaluation of algorithms for different parameters is made, the possibility of data compression implementation in systems running in real time is analyzed. Based on the results of the study, recommendations are made for the application of particular compression methods in specific conditions.
This article is devoted to solving the problem of information protection in radio channels, by applying comprehensive measures to protect against possible attacks aimed at intercepting and substituting transmitted data. The aim of the work is to analyze the security of wireless networks, identify methods for their protection and create a model for protecting wireless networks. In order to achieve this goal, the following list of tasks was performed: the existing solutions in the field of information protection through radio networks were analyzed; the description of the offered developed model is made; algorithms, experiments, experiments of this model are described. A means of protecting information through radio networks has been developed, the application of which has a significant increase in the level of information security in the radio channel. The practical value of this development is that the theoretical and practical results are recommended for implementation in organizations that use the radio channel to transmit confidential information with high security requirements
This article discusses the problems of information security in "SmartCity" systems. The comparison of existing solutions and data protocols for wired solutions, such as IPsec, SSL, TLS and wireless systems: ZigBee, Z-Wave, Thread, WeMo. The advantages and disadvantages of each of the existing systems are analyzed. The SmartCity system must be able to recognize a specific situation that arises in the house, city, workplace, when processing large amounts of data, to respond accordingly: one of the systems can control the behavior of other systems using a pre-designed algorithm. The main purpose of the "SmartCity" system is to save energy, which is becoming increasingly important due to their rise in price in Ukraine. Therefore, intellectualization is becoming increasingly popular, catching up with global trends in home automation. However, despite the development and gradual formal and informal standardization of smart city technologies, and any home automation, there is still the problem of choosing protocols for the transfer of information between controlled devices, sensors and other elements. This problem is especially serious when it is necessary to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data circulating in the system. The purpose of this study is to find a secure network protocol that allows you to use it in automatic signaling equipment, so you can not use special software and hardware solutions to affect the confidentiality and integrity of information. In the article is not the last issue of information security such a house of the city government system or production, can cause very great damage to its owner. As remote management and access to information are quite common nowadays, secure schemes, encryption and protection schemes should be used to reduce the percentage of vulnerabilities and prevent intruders from causing harm.

This article considers the problem of the process of using robots and their control in catering establishments with the help of wireless networks, shows the main features of existing solutions in the field of robotics and networks, their advantages and disadvantages. Wireless networks for their application in robot control have been studied. The main task of wireless networks is to provide high-speed local access to services and data in a certain area, the exchange of information between users within the territory. Building wireless Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11) networks is now in high demand due to a host of benefits. Among the main advantages of this technology are the most attractive: low cost of equipment; flexibility of equipment use; high data rate. This technology provides the ability to run a number of custom applications. The infrastructure of wireless networks is the basis on which the further implementation of custom applications is built and the support of key services for the company is provided. Such services include network management, information security and service quality assurance (QoS) mechanisms. A virtual environment with the appropriate software was configured, a network simulation was performed, and its results were recorded. This solution can be used in catering establishments. It allows to introduce new technologies into the sphere of human life and increase the profits of food business owners.
