The mixing between the f 2 ð1270Þ, the f 0 2 ð1525Þ, and the 2 þþ glueball is determined and tested. The mass and the hadronic decay widths of two bodies of the G 2 are predicted. The search for the G 2 state in the radiative decay of the J=c is discussed.

The chiral theory of mesons of two flavors has been extended to mesons containing strangeness. The theory has been studied at the tree level. Two new mass relations between vector and axialvector mesons have been obtained. In the chiral limit, the physical processes of normal parity and abnormal parity have been studied. Because of the universality of the coupling of this theory many interesting results have been obtained. In the chiral limit, theoretical results are in reasonable agreement with data.Chiral symmetry is one of the most important features revealed from quantum chromodynamics (QCD). Based on chiral symmetry and the principle of minimum coupling, a meson theory of two flavors has been proposed [I] and the theoretical results are in good agreement with the phenomenology of pseudoscalar, vector, and axial-vector mesons made of u and d quarks. In this paper we generalize the study of Ref.[I] to K , q, ql, K* (892), 4, K1 (1400), and f1(1510) mesons containing the third flavor-strange quark. A u ( 2 )~ x U ( 2 )~ chiral theory of pseudoscalar, vector, and axial-vector mesons is proposed and studied at the tree level. VMD is a natural result of this theory. The physical processes of normal parity and abnormal parity have been studied by using the same Lagrangian leading to a universality of coupling. Two new mass relations between vector and axial-vector mesons have been found. Weinberg's first sum rule and new relations about the amplitude of a1 decay are satisfied. The KSFR sum rule is satisfied reasonably well. The p pole in the pion form factor has been achieved.The theoretical results for the processes p + nn, w + nn, a1 -+ pn, and ny, T -+ pv, T -+ alv, no -+ 77, w --+ ~7 , p -+ a7, fl -+ pmr, fl -+ ~mr, p -+ qy, w -+ qy are in good agreement with the data. The nrr scattering lengths and slopes have been found to be the same as obtained by Weinberg. In particular, the p resonance in the amplitude T : of .rrn scattering has been obtained from this theory. Two coefficients of chiral perturbation theory have been determined and they are close to the values used in chiral perturbation theory. The spectrum of bound states of gluons is discussed within the MIT bag model. We argue that (1) contrary to previous analysis there is no light exotic 1-+ state in the two gluon sector, (2) experiments on the three gluon sector can clearly differentiate the bag model from other models, (3) the state seen in J/qJ radiative decays at 1.4 GeV is most likely a pseudoscalar glueball, and (4) there should be a second 2 ++ state underneath the f(1270) resonance.
