Processing enhancement of a digital Image is really important now a day, as it plays a crucial role in mobile technology, multimedia, medicine and several DSP applications. The solution to enhance the quality of systems linked to image processing is hardware based processing of an image by using FPGA'S. In this, a discussion about implementation of circle detection and coin counting is done by changing brightness, threshold and contrast of a digital image and simulated result by the help of a language for description of hardware, verilog was done. Algorithm for step wise implementation of Brightness manipulation, Operating Threshold and Contrast stretching is implementedwhich gives an efficient implementation than normal edge detecting kind of counting coins.
For making aware of the new environment one should go there and tell us what is happening, but life is precious so robots are used instead to make aware of new places. The main theme of this paper is to develop an FPGA based robot which can be controlled remotely by using internet. The robot direction is controlled by using Bluetooth module. The transmitter is android mobile. By using the blue term software in android mobile one transmits the signal to the Bluetooth module fixed in the robot. This mobile which controls the robot through Bluetooth has limited range. So mobile is placed inside the robot and it will be controlled via the internet from another android platform or Pc. Camera in the mobile can be used to visually control the robot directions even from far places. Text to speech converter at the robot is used to communicate with the people near the robot. GPS in the android mobile can also track the robot from the internet itself. So this can be used as robot which makes aware of new places whole over the world collecting information and communicating with the people there. The FPGA robot is remotely accessed successfully from VIT University.
