Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is an information system that is used to integrate all information in every business process in a company by using a shared database. Proper integration of each division can improve good communication, regular workflow, and company success. This study aims to analyze the implementation of ERP in a trading and service company. Before implementing ERP, each division, namely the warehouse division and the finance division, used a separate application. As a result, there is a difference in inventory calculation between warehouse records and finance. The study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to employees who deal directly with the ERP system in the company under study. The results of the questionnaire show that the relationship of user training and data analysis has an influence on the success of ERP implementation. After the ERP system is implemented, there are no more data miscut incidents due to work processes, spare part administration, checking of the purchase status and spare part expenditure processes in the warehouse division to be more accountable because all users use the same database for all divisions, namely the warehouse, finance, and commercial divisions. The control system of every activity in and out of goods and also better monitored, especially the spare parts that are warranty because the warehouse division has received enough information from each use of spare parts.
The aim of research is to design the model of rendement rate by considering the criteria of patchouli leaf and designing a good supplier selection model to maximize the company profit by considering the acceptance of the patchouli oil rendement rate. The selection of suppliersdiscussed is to consider the quantity of goods offered by suppliers, demand, budget and acceptance limitation of rendement rate. To overcome these limitations, it is necessary to develop a supplier selection model that takes into consideration the quantity limitation of goods offered by the supplier and the acceptance of the rendement rate by using Linear Programming (LP) method. The result of the research shows that the determination model of the rendement rate developed to determine the percentage of Rendement Rate (RR) of each raw material supplied by the supplier so that the company can know the quality of patchouli leaf based on the type of patchouli leaf. The analysis result of numerical sample calculation shows that the selected supplier is not a supplier with good patchouli leaf criteria, the analysis result of parameter changes in oil demand and budget indicate that when oil demand is increased over the benchmark data, the model output isinsensitive, but when demand is lowered below the benchmark data, the model output looks sensitive.
CV.
PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk is a company engaged in agribusiness, which tried to become a retail company in 2016 with Kahuripan Tea products, namely teabags processed from their factories and gardens in the Bandung, West Java area. With marketing areas in West Java and East Java, the focused area is the Jabodetabek area in this research. The problem faced by the company is the delay in the transport order process, which results in delays in the delivery of Kahuripan Tea products to customers. The data on delays used are data from October to December 2019. The problem occurs because there are still many activities that are not value-added which are classified as waste. This research aims to analyze improvements in the transport order process that occurs in the business development and procurement department at PT. PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, with a lean manufacturing approach with the value stream mapping (VSM) method, analyzes the dominant waste in the transport ordering process. Based on the analysis results, there were three improvements, namely the approval process, the price bidding process, and the vendor selection process. The results of the improvement evaluation obtained a decrease in lead time by 560 minutes and an increase in the value of Process Cycle Efficiency by 46%. So, this improvement will increase the practical value in the transport ordering process: that way, PT. PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk can increase customer value with fast service time and good quality.
The existing water dispenser has been established in Indonesia for years which has various water tap designs and height levels as well. Unfortunately, the existing water tap design and height level have suited only for certain people with a height of less than 167 cm and therefore other taller people experienced bending posture when operating it. Furthermore, the water tap valve which required both hands to operate has made another effort to fill into the water media. Several research and methodologies have been proposed regarding water tap such as how to avoid water spills using the TRIZ method and how to enhance the smart dispenser through the Internet of Time. None of it discovered how to enhance its ergonomic aspect. However, to achieve improve the ergonomic level, several experiments and measurements have been performed in this research using Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method, to generate a recommendation for ergonomic water dispensers.
