Este estudo teve como propósito revisar sistematicamente estudos referentes à sensibilidade e especificidade de instrumentos psicológicos na avaliação do transtorno de déficit de atenção e hiperatividade (TDAH). Com a utilização do PRISMA, realizou-se uma revisão sistemática por meio da pesquisa em bases de dados nacionais e internacionais na plataforma Capes, com os descritores ADHD/sensitivity and specificity, sem a seleção de bases de dados específicas. A pesquisa foi restrita às publicações dos últimos cinco anos (2014)(2015)(2016)(2017)(2018)(2019). Adotaram-se os seguintes critérios de inclusão: artigos de avaliação psicológica no TDAH com crianças e artigos empíricos publicados em revista brasileira ou estrangeira revisados por pares. Excluíram-se os artigos repetidos nos quais houvesse a indicação de comorbidades. A amostra final foi composta por dois artigos. Constatou-se um baixo índice de publicações referentes à sensibilidade e especificidade de instrumentos nas avaliações psicológicas para o TDAH, mesmo com o grande número de estudos relacionados ao transtorno nos últimos cinco anos. Os estudos selecionados descreveram o uso da curva ROC como procedimento de análise da sensibilidade e especificidade, com o objetivo de reduzir vieses diagnósticos. Não foram encontrados instrumentos utilizados em avaliações psicológicas referentes ao TDAH. Os estudos apresentavam como eixo central, respectivamente, o uso do eletroencefalograma e o desenvolvimento de instrumento breve para o transtorno em equipe multiprofissional.
