Objetivo: Analisar na literatura científica sobre a relação de Púrpura Trombocitopênica Idiopática e infecção por Covid-19. Métodos: Por meio da plataforma de base de dados Pubmed, foi realizada uma Revisão Integrativa, com o intento de localizar fontes relevantes para tal. A pesquisa foi realizada sob o uso dos descritores “Covid", "idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura", "Immune thrombocytopenic purpura", "thrombocytopenic", em associação com os operadores booleanos “OR” e “AND”, para fazer a busca dos artigos, resultando em 171 artigos iniciais. Dentro desses números, devido aos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, apenas 16 tornaram-se fontes oficiais. Resultados: Os estudos apontam que há uma estreita ligação entre a infecção viral e, por conseguinte, a produção de autoanticorpos e citocinas que convergem em um mecanismo de autoimunidade viral observado nos casos de Púrpura Trombocitopênica Idiopática. Considerações finais: A Covid-19 pode ser considerada um agente infeccioso indutor de Púrpura Trombocitopênica Idiopática, o que sugere a urgência no tratamento dessa associação para aplacar as suas possíveis complicações.
O conceito de hemorragia pós-parto (HPP) envolve a perda de 1.000 ml ou mais de conteúdo sanguíneo, durante um período de no máximo 24 horas após o término do trabalho de parto. No cenário obstétrico, o sangramento abordado é apontado como uma das principais causas de óbito e morbidade materna. Desse modo, a HPP apresenta-se como um problema de saúde mundial, sendo essencial o questionamento: quais são as principais medidas terapêuticas e profiláticas frente a um quadro de hemorragia pós-parto? Esta pesquisa trata-se de uma revisão de literatura do tipo integrativa de caráter qualitativo. Para compor o estudo foram selecionados 16 artigos, após análise criteriosa. Em relação ao resultado, a atual pesquisa evidenciou que as medidas terapêuticas nos estágios iniciais da HPP são farmacológicas. A persistência do sangramento após a conduta medicamentosa requer adição de medidas não cirúrgicas, como a massagem uterina bimanual. Na falha dos tratamentos citados, o tratamento cirúrgico é considerado imediatamente. Ademais, a transfusão maciça também é uma opção terapêutica em condições críticas de ressuscitação em resposta ao sangramento pós-parto. Referente as medidas preventivas para a HPP, a ocitocina em dose profilática é recomendada se suspeita clínica. Outrossim, a capacitação dos profissionais da saúde e a preparação das instituições que assistem gestantes em trabalho de parto são cruciais para a prevenção e cuidado frente ao cenário exposto. Portanto, conclui-se que é fundamental a avaliação dos fatores de risco associados a HPP, executando medidas preventivas e terapêuticas adequadas a fim de evitar desfechos maternos desfavoráveis.
Objetivo: identificar os impactos na saúde mental dos estudantes de medicina e sua prevalência diante da pandemia pelo coronavírus. Metodologia: revisão integrativa nas bases de dados Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online, Scientific Electronic Library Online e Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde, utilizando-se os descritores “Mental health”, “Medical students” e sigla pertinente para a doença por Coronavírus 2019. Resultados: a mostra final deste estudo foi composta por 21 artigos discorrendo sobre depressão, ansiedade, estresse, sofrimento psicológico e mudanças psicológicas ou comportamentais. Conclusão: a pandemia causada pela doença do coronavírus repercutiu de diferentes maneiras na saúde mental dos estudantes de medicina, sendo observados transtornos de ansiedade e depressão, alterações de humor, estresse, sofrimento psicológico e dificuldade no engajamento universitário. Este estudo contribui com a identificação dos principais impactos da realidade imposta pelo novo coronavírus, estimulando a implementação de futuras estratégias de apoio à saúde mental no decorrer da formação médica.
