Nanoparticles of semiconductor material have get more interest due to their desirable properties and applications in different areas. In this study Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) were synthesized using laser ablation in water by applying (1600 pulses) of Nd- YAG laser ( λ = 1064 nm ) . The crystal structure morphology of synthesized ZnO NPs were investigated using X-Ray diffraction, atomic force microscope (AFM) , optical microscope image , and optical properties characterized using UV-VIS as well as FTIR spectroscopy . The investigation revealed high purity of the ZnO NPs thin film prepared with a regular and homogeneous semi-spherical shape nanoparticles distribution on the substrate surface with size around 50nm. The optical properties shows energy band gap (1.5 and 4) eV respectively. I-V characteristics have been studied for the heterojunction structure of (Ag/ZnO/Si/Al) indicates that this heterojunc-tion could be used as a solar cell with efficiency about 10.9%.
Coumarin dye laser compounds are often used as components in coloring agents and sprays., as well as in the odorization of foods. Therefore, the important of these compounds in many felids leading to growth of several ways aiming to advance the control of pharmaceutical and superficial producing. Solvents play an important role in changing the character of coumarin. The investigated spectral properties, as well as the effect of changing the solvent on this property, have been published. results referred that the molar electronic transition energy increased with decreasing the maximum absorption wavelength, and the highest intensity of the absorption spectrum was in the case of acetone solvent. In addition, many bands appear in Raman shift attributed to the ''C=O'' band, ''O=C–O, C–C'', and ''C–O'' deformation. The characteristic vibrations involving the ''O-H'' group is the stretching and bending modes of the ''O-H'' and ''C-O'' parts.
Transparent and conducting SnO 2 thin film has been produced on (quartz and porous silicon) substrates using rapid photothermal oxidation of pure Sn in air at 600 o C oxidation temperature and different oxidation time. The structural properties and scan electron microscope of the prepared films were studied. The photovoltage properties of a Au/n-SnO 2 /p-PSi/c-Si solar cell are investigated under irradiation of Nd:YAG laser pulses. The porous Si layer is synthesized on a single crystalline ptype Si using electrochemical etching in aqueous hydrofluoric acid at a current density of 25 mA/cm 2 for a 30-min etching time. The structure of the porous layer is investigated using scan electron microscope. The photovoltage properties are found to be dependent on the laser fluencies.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
