In order to carry out the main tasks of the Military to safeguard the sovereignty of the nation and the state, the educated, trained and professional soldiers are needed. Therefore, it is necessary to continuously improve work motivation and performance of all soldiers. The research was carried out on 200 Personnels at military education institutions to obtain data on relationships between variables. The data was processed with the structural equation model and was continued with system dynamics to obtain simulations that reflect the relationship model between variables. Based on the compiled system dynamics model, the conclusions and suggestions for improvement leadership style and motivation in order to improve the soldier’s performance can be obtained. The results showed that: system dynamics can be used to model soldier’s performance. It was needed to increase the transformational leadership style and transactional leadership style and motivation in order to improve the performance of soldiers. Some efforts can be made to improve performance through leadership styles such as reward and punishment and encourage innovation, creativity, and inspiration from leaders.
In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. this is where technology and technology have been very advanced demanding competent human resources who have high morale and discipline in carrying out their roles and functions for both the individual and the objectives of the organization. In the role and contribution of STTAL in the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the current conditions, where the quality of human resources both students, lecturers, and Antap STTAL are considered unable to answer the challenges in the cyber field so that strategic decision-making and steps are needed to be able to accompany the development of science and technology while carrying out missions STTAL is to hold a higher education program to produce human resources with Indonesian character and personality, quality and relevant science and technology based, with defense needs in the military, maritime and maritime fields. With SWOT analysis, a matrix will be obtained which shows the strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities and threats which will later be used as a reference to make the right and appropriate strategies. To create the human resources of the apparatus that possesses these competencies, it is necessary to improve the quality of professionalism and develop the insight of Civil Servants. One effort to improve the quality of professionalism and the development of insights of Civil Servants is through the Education and Training program. Evaluation of Education and Leadership Training Level IV as one type of employee development is carried out to achieve the Echelon IV Position competency requirements and achievement of performance improvement in accordance with the main tasks and functions as well as authorities in each work unit.is conducted to evaluate: (1) the basis and objectives of Level IV Leadership Education and Training, as well as the feasibility of the organizing agency, (2) clarity of the characteristics of Education and Training participants, the state of the lecturers, curriculum, facilities and infrastructure, (3 ) compliance with the curriculum and program schedule (4) overall assessment of participants, lecturers and organizers. The approach used in this study is a program evaluation approach using the CIPP model (Contex, Input, Process, Product). The results obtained by the evaluation of Contex namely the foundation of the program in accordance with applicable laws, the purpose of this program is suitable to improve the competence of Echelon IV, while the evaluation of Input shows participants meet the criteria, but the lecturer is still very limited and the curriculum has referred to the guidelines, facilities that meet the standards appropriateness. Process component evaluation program compliance with curriculum and schedule meets the criteria, Product component evaluation of the overall results of participants, lecturers and organizers meet the criteria.Keywords:Program Evaluation, CIPP Model, Education and Leadership Training Level IV.
The Indonesian Navy organization has the duties and responsibilities of state sovereignty. In carrying out its duties, very large and large data and real time data include data on ships in all Indonesian waters from satellite and terrestrial AIS, from radar, data from long range cameras, data from other agencies such as weather data, marine accident data, natural disasters data and fishing areas data. The managed data consists of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. Thus, big data is needed within the Indonesian Navy. Therefore, this study analyzes the strategies that need to be taken to be able to develop a big data in the Indonesian Navy. The method used is qualitative analytic research using SWOT and AHP. The research subjects were Section Heads at command and control center, Head of Section at Information and Data Processing Services. Data With this combined method, the resulting main strategy is to implement Big Data with existing and adequate system resources, manageable costs, set up network infrastructure and sufficient bandwidth using available big data software by optimizing government regulations regarding single data for communication and data sharing from other agencies and optimizing advanced API technology.
The use of computers and the internet is very important for business improvement. Analysis of its use for delineation and development plans in order to provide a better role in the business field. The problem is that there is no information technology literacy map in Indonesia that can provide an overview for national policy formulation. The research was carried out to compile a map of mastery of information technology in Indonesia by data mining from the Central Bureau of Statistics and analyzed it into 4 clusters of mastery of information technology. The presentation results in the form of a spatial statistical map showing the mastery of information technology makes it easier for executive decisions to be made, which can be followed up with education, socialization and other floating plans to increase indications of mastery of information technology to increase business success.
Covid-19 disease is still ongoing. It is necessary to do intensive research related to age, sex and congenital diseases so that management can be better planned. The research was conducted using data from Indonesian Navy personnel and their families, retired Indonesian Navy and their families. This study used k-means clustering for data grouping of Indonesian Navy personnel based on age, sex and congenital disease characteristics. The results of the k-means cluster clustering show that the k = 2 cluster has not been able to provide an explanation of the relationship between age, sex and comorbidity with the risk of death due to Covid-19. However, in the cluster with k = 3, it turns out that deaths due to Covid-19 are related to old age, men, even though there is no congenital disease. Meanwhile, using the k = 4 cluster, it is increasingly clear that deaths due to Covid-19 are closely related to old age, both men and women, with comorbidities.
The pandemic around the world has been going on for more than a year. A major impact in education has been the change from conventional education to online information technology-based education. After the pandemic, it was necessary to plan the educational model that was carrying out. To examine the educational model in the Indonesian Navy after the pandemic, a combination of SWOT - AHP will be carried out. The research subjects included five middle-ranking officers in the Indonesian Navy educational institution and the Indonesian Navy Education Office. The result of the research is that the Indonesian Navy needs to integrate the online-based education model with face-to-face education. Online-based education, especially in theory and face-to-face learning in the discussion model, workgroup, and teamwork in military team formations, platoons, company, battalion, and skills training in using the equipment. The global strategy compiled is an intensification of the combination of online and offline learning with an increasingly advanced educational information system, combining teaching materials and being equipped with increasingly qualified teaching staff from within the Indonesian Navy and others to improve Indonesian Navy education while maintaining system security and improve HR capabilities in the IT field by collaborating with other relevant agencies
