<p><strong>Background:</strong> Pregnancy/Antenatal Care (ANC) services are the main factors in determining <em>delivery outcomes including early detection of risk factors and also determining early treatment for pregnant women who experience complications during pregnancy. The quality of quality pregnancy services depends on the characteristics of health workers who provide services, the characteristics consist of age, educational qualifications, training and length of work.</em></p><p><strong><em>Objectives:</em></strong><em> This study aims to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of midwives in pregnancy services and patient satisfaction.</em></p><p><strong><em>Methods:</em></strong><em> This study used a cross-sectional analytical research design, namely the measurement of independent and dependent variables at the same time. The sample in this study were all midwives who worked at the Soreang District Health Center, namely 18 midwives. The midwives studied conducted examinations of 8 patients each for each pregnancy examination. Data collection techniques were carried out by filling out patient satisfaction questionnaires by pregnant women and observing pregnancy services by trained personnel using a pregnancy service checklist sheet. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by chi square test and multivariable multiple logistic regression analysis.</em></p><p><strong><em>Results:</em></strong><em> The results showed that there was a correlation between the characteristics of midwives and pregnancy services, namely the training indicator in a bivariable manner significantly affected the overall pregnancy service with a p-test of 0.007. Waiting time has a negative correlation with physical examination, laboratory, counseling and overall antenatal care with a p value of 0.002. Multivariable analysis showed that the characteristics of midwives that most influenced pregnancy care were age with p-value 0.040 [POR 1.83(1.028-3.259)], training with p-value 0.019 [POR 2.6(1.168-5.741)]. There is no relationship between pregnancy services and patient satisfaction with a p value of 0.796.</em></p><strong><em>Conclusion:</em></strong><em> In pregnancy services, the most influencing factors are age and training carried out by midwives. There is also a negative correlation between waiting time with physical and laboratory examinations, namely the longer the waiting time, the less physical examination services provided by midwives to patients. There is no relationship between pregnancy services and patient satisfaction.</em>
Setelah dilakukan posttest mengenai Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk didapatkan rerata nilai audiens yaitu 80. Kata Kunci: Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk (PSN), Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD), Penyuluhan Kesehatan ABSTRACT One of the endemic diseases, namely Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease with rapid transmission, caused by the Aedes aegypti mosquito which carries the dengue virus. Tropical climate factors, population density factors and increased mobility are one of the consequences of the continued increase in DHF cases. As of July 2020, there have been 71,633 cases of DHF in Indonesia. West Java Province is ranked first as the province with the highest number of cases, namely 10,772 cases (Antara News, 2021). Sumedang Regency is an area in West Java Province which continues to experience a spike in cases every year, where in 2021 as of January to November there are 762 cases with 8 deaths. This service aims to find out changes in the attitude or behavior of respondents through increasing knowledge by conducting health education using audio-visual media about the implementation of PSN 3M Plus in dealing with DHF. The stages of implementing this Community Service event are July 21, 2022 which are attended by cadres and the community. The media used is power point for counseling on the Eradication of Mosquito Nests. Before counseling the participants were given a pretest regarding DHF, the average knowledge of the participants was 60. After the posttest was carried out on Eradicating Mosquito Nests, the average audience score was 80. Counseling was proven to be able to increase community knowledge in implementing PSN 3M Plus in dealing with DHF. The high maternal mortality rate (MMR) and neonatal mortality rate (NMR) are indicators of low health quality in society. Most maternal and neonatal mortality cases prevented through early detection and quick and accurate responses. Other factors that contribute to maternal and neonatal mortality are the quality of health care, the uneven distribution of health workers, and the inadequate health-supporting facilities. The government’s efforts in improving fair health workers distribution and quality of healthcare services by involving integrated health service post (pos pelayanan terpadu/posyandu) cadres, as the front-liners of health care programs (especially concerning maternal and neonatal health), should be able to provide better healthcare services to the people. Hence, cadres training is crucial for improving the cadres’ knowledge and skills in healthcare services. This study aims to analyze the effect of cadres training implementation on the development of cadres’ knowledge and skills in giving maternal and neonatal (infant) health counseling. This study used a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design conducted from July to November 2017. The sample consists of 32 active cadres from 12 villages in Soreang sub-district who satisfy the inclusion criteria. Data is collected through questionnaires to measure knowledge improvement and checklists to measure cadres’ skills development. The findings show that cadres training implementation can improve cadres’ knowledge and skills in maternal and neonatal (infant) health counseling.
