Academic buoyancy refers to to learners’ potential to face challenges and difficulties that are regular in nature under educational settings or environment. Demographic correlates were found and its effect on academic buoyancy was obtained through regression analysis. The sample consists of 1200 high school students belonging to three different boards of Lucknow City. Multiple regression analysis was done in variables where independent variables which are non-metric and a single dependent variable viz. academic buoyancy is metric in nature. Regression analysis is done through dummy coding where predictors of academic buoyancy are found by keeping one benchmark sub-category in each category.
Supply chain management practices ensure better quality improvement and entails the process of transforming information, goods and services in many ways thereby ensuring cost and time efficiency so as to attain desired results. The study was commenced with the motive of examining the issues and remedies apropos supply chains in MSME sector. Enterprises of different proportions that are involved in production of material for industrial and direct consumption were considered for the study. The sample size consisted of 227 entrepreneurs of MSME in different parts of the city. Questionnaire was used for survey among the entrepreneurs. Simple percentage analysis, factor analysis, and Garrett ranking were used for analysis. Findings showed that procurement, production, distribution, cost and external factors were the significant issues in supply chain activities of such enterprises.
The study's goal was to investigate the dynamics of workplace stress and its influence on the job performances of hospitality professionals. The hospitality sector mainly relies on services that encompass hygiene and quality rendered to the customers. Marketing of services rather than sale of products may entail large quantity of work. Increased work task fuels high responsibility and stress on the employees. Ultimately, it fosters more work pressure and directly causes depression, anxiety, strain, sleep disorders and disruptions in peace of mind of employees. This study comprises a sample of 373 employees in hospitality sector. Convenience sampling technique was employed besides a design that was descriptive in approach. Interview schedule was employed for data collection. Job dynamics such as regular tasks, human resource strategy, employee benefit, work atmosphere, supervisor support, and relations with associates have a substantial influence on the job performance of hospitality staff. Furthermore, stress coping strategies were observed to be effective for employees working in hospitality sector.
Packaging plays a significant role in today's rapidly changing market climate and customer demand. The objective of the study set out the base for identifying the relation between the reasons for food package complaints and complaint intentions apropos food products. A systematic samples approach was used in the survey of 272 people. A self-administered questionnaire was prepared for collecting the responses. Findings of the study showed that there is cogent influence of types of injuries than other reasons for complaining.
The study's goal is to assess consumers' proclivity to buy personal care items in Salem. The data for the study was collected by using direct interview with the consumers who were purchasing personal care products via an interview schedule. The study collects data from 794 consumers in different parts of Salem City. The study was commenced with the motive to test demographic profile of consumers, factors influencing consumer inclination and satisfaction of consumers while purchasing personal care products. The data was appropriately collated and analyzed using basic frequencies and percentages, exploratory factors, weighted ranking, as well as multiple regression. The study confirmed that consumer inclination mainly relies on store ambience, product quality, product promotion, product price, interest to purchase, and external influences. Consumer satisfaction was mainly influenced by the package quality, variety of product, and quality offered by the personal care products. It is concluded that several factors determine consumer inclination to procure personal care products.
