This study aims to determine the affirmation of tolerance in a plural society through the religious instructors competence in the service of the people. This paper uses a descriptive qualitative method in analyzing and presenting the results of the study. The research results show that the competence of religious instructors in serving the people towards a tolerant religious life already has appropriate perception and understanding of religious teachings and norms in building insight into plurality and multi-ethnicity. Therefore, the religions that emerged in a multicultural society were then understood by the people. Two competencies an extension worker should have are; a) accuracy in showing the root of the basic problems that exist in modern times, namely misunderstandings in understanding the nature of the world and human nature; b) accuracy in showing a way out of modern problems. They should also understand rationally and even irrationally regarding what the community is facing. With these competencies, it is possible for them to create balance and social cohesion in a multicultural society. To create a proportional attitude of religious tolerance in a multicultural society, it is necessary to cultivate a neutral attitude (epoché) in serving the people.
Distance education is a set of instructional and instructional strategies for connecting people who have learning needs with the resources needed to meet those needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of distance instructional strategies and learning motivation on learning outcomes of the Qur'an study of the concept of taqwa in a COVID-19 pandemic situation. Experimental research used a quantitative approach. 64 students were divided into two groups. The group was given the treatment of distance instructional through digital media online and the other group with distance instruction through e-books offline. The results of the study were obtained by Significant 0.001 < 0.05, to shows that there are differences in learning outcomes with online digital media instructional strategies to learning outcomes of students who are treated with offline e-book instructional strategies and obtained by Significant 0.003 < 0.05, it means that there is a difference in learning between students who have high learning motivation and student learning outcomes who have low learning motivation. The implication is that distance instructional is dependent on internet network. If students are in rural areas, it will be difficult to implement because many factors for example, infrastructure is not yet available, students from economically disadvantaged circles who didn't have smartphones, or the cost to purchase internet quota expensive.
The purpose of this research is to develop android-based interactive media to diffuse the concept of civic intelligence from the perspective of the Qur'an. A mixed method is used in this study. The qualitative designation is used to describe the concept of civic intelligence through a Focus Discussion Group with a team of experts. While the quantitative approach to describe the effectiveness of interactive media developed. The number of respondents in this study involved 20 students in testing the effectiveness of the developed product. The assessment of the expert team that 81.43% of interactive media is worth using can be concluded that android-based interactive media applications are worth using for information dissemination. The effectiveness test results with an average value of 3.3 are in accordance with the agreed criteria that android-based interactive media are effectively used in disseminating information. The novelty of this research is an interactive medium in disseminating information. The results of his research that Android-based interactive media effectively spread the concept of civil intelligence from the perspective of the Qur'an.
This paper discusses the teacher's perception of the application of the full day school system at SMAN 1 Citeureup. This research is motivated by the existence of an innovation in education set by the government about the school day that is full day school. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research with field research approach. The research data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) Some teachers respond positively to the full day school policy, if the school is able to support all aspects needed by both teachers and students, starting from the concept of managing a full day school learning that is well planned, structured and directed so that it is more effective in carrying out the learning process and the development of adequate facilities and infrastructure (2) teachers' perceptions about the advantages of full day school systems can be a solution for parents who care about the moral crisis that is being experienced by students at this time. Furthermore, as a means of improving the quality of student morals for the better, and to maximize student time to be more useful by developing students 'talents, interests and creativity (3) teachers' perceptions of the weaknesses of full day school lies in the technical implementation in schools, the lack of student socialization with the surrounding environment inadequate places of residence and facilities and infrastructure (4) management of full day school learning in SMAN 1 Citeureup in accordance with PP No. 19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards which include program planning, implementation and evaluation.
