During the field survey and plant exploration tour of Morni Hills, Panchkula, Haryana, the authors collected about 2200 field numbers (980 species) during different seasons, out of them 53 species were not reported in the floristic documentation before. The present paper enumerates 53 plant species which are new to the flora of Haryana. Morphological characters, flowering and fruiting time along with ecological notes have also been provided.

Singrauli is situated on southern corner between Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. It falls under the district Sonbhadra of Uttar Pradesh and Sidhi of Madhya Pradesh. The entire mining area is represented by dry deciduous forests, degraded forests with dominant species of Madhaca longfolia var. latifalia (Roxb.) Chevalier. About 180 species belonging to 145 genera of 59 families have been collected from the coal mines area. The paper deals with the systematic enumeration of all species collected from the area along with ecological notes. Pollution aspects and conservation measures have been discussed.
Forest and wild life are essential for ecological balance of an area. Forest is an important component of our environment and economy. Forest products are classified into timber forest products (TFPs) and non-timber forest products (NTFPs). Morni Hills of Haryana is rich in floristic diversity having various species of trees, shrubs, herbs and climbers. Phytodiversity also supports wild-life in this area. In Morni Hills total 186 species were found which yield timber forest products (TFPs) and non-timber forest products (NTFPs).
The present paper deals with the different life form categories and biological spectrum of Morni Hills in Panchkula district of Haryana. During field surveys, 950 species of vascular plants were recorded from Morni Hills. It includes Therophytes (29.68%), Phanerophytes (21.89%), Nano-phanerophytes (12.94%), Chamaephytes (10.73%), Lianas (10%), Geophytes (8.32%), Hemicryptophytes (4.94%), Hydrophytes (0.84%) and Epiphytes (0.63%). Biological spectrum has been compared with normal spectrum to know the phytoclimate of this region. After the comparison with normal spectrum the phytoclimate of Morni area is Thero-Geo-Chamae-phytic.
