Thick Film Resistors (TFRs) are extensively being used in hybrid electronic technology, wherein high standards of electrical parameters and stability in changing thermal environment are required especially in space-research based industries. In the present paper, the optimized alloy Sb 0.6 :Sn 0.4 of 5-10μm size was loaded in SnO 2 nano-sized powder synthesized by sol-gel method, to produce range of resistive pastes. Thick Film Resistors fabrication and their electrical and material characterization using XRD and SEM studies have been reported. The fall in sheet resistivity ρ s against loading fraction of optimized alloy Sb 0.6 :Sn 0.4 in SnO 2 nano-sized particles has been examined using percolation/effective medium theory.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
