This article will discuss the use of computers in internet access through the use of you tube in learning and teaching beginners the techniques of contemporary dances moves. In this regard, the application of internet usage is so widespread around the world that it has the potential to help the student learning process. Besides being able to stimulate students learning interest in learning and mastering basic techniques of body movement and learning as a beginner of dance moves. Besides, how to control the internet access like you tube is limited just to help students learn. In addition, using the internet as one of teaching tools in the classroom and learning the basic techniques of dance movement can help attract students with background in different programs of study taking dance classes in the classroom learning process. In addition, researching the effectiveness of implementing internet teaching applications has the potential to enhance the learning skills of students who attend dance classes. In addition researching the extent to which the internet can interest students in learning. In addition, research on the frequency of students use of computers from internet access includes you tube, cd rom, video during dance class learning. The design of the research is based on observations and questionnaires with a sample of twenty students who have taken basic dance classes at the University of Malaysia Terengganu. In addition, researching dance can create physical intelligence and improve student mindset. The questionnaire was used to measure the frequency of internet use in teaching basic dance techniques among students and to student’s interest in learning dance. Data collection was conducted on twenty students attending dance classes at University Malaysia of Terengganu. This data collection is done using a questionnaire that covers various items on the application of teaching you tube, cd rom, video in developing basic skills of dance technique in beginner to basic learning in dance class. Re-documenting this study could add further sources of reference to other researchers in the future.
Technology evolution now allows for many things. However, it is hard to keep students engaged without a teacher’s physical presence contact. Educators may use interactive virtual applications to track students’ progress and giving feedback to keep them engaged. Due to the rise of online learning tools; students have an opportunity for personalised instruction and tailored to their specific needs. Thus, this article presents Classkick, an interactive web and mobile app supporting differentiated Mandarin instruction in higher education. A quasi-experiment was used to examine how influences students’ knowledge and the teacher’s teaching practice. Classkick enhanced the quality of Classkick learning and changed the way students learn. Classkick is a potential app for differentiated instruction. It helps teachers to differentiate instruction for individual need. However, students and teacher need to adjust self-concept to be more effective. The study found that Classkick which can be used to render integrated instruction that can minimise distraction. It showed that technology integrated lessons have a higher impact on student learning than traditional methods.
Recent developments in sports technology have enabled sports engineers to utilise the availability of inertial measurement units (IMUs) to develop a customised system for data collection during sports performances. Ensuring the reliability of such a system is essential for objective data collection and transmission of information that coaches could rely upon for improving athletes’ techniques and overall performance. The aim of this study was to investigate the reliability of a custom-made IMU system (embedded with Arduino Pro Mini) in the evaluation of skateboarding related manoeuvres. A skilful male and experienced amateur skateboarder (23 years, with 5 years skateboarding experience) performed five skateboarding tricks (Ollie, Nollie, Pop Shuvit, Kickflip and Frontside 180) using a customised ORY skateboard (IMUs fused). The skateboarder was permitted to execute two separate tricks (Tests A and B); thereafter, the reliability of the IMUs in recognising the similarity of the tricks was evaluated using a test-retest approach. Six time-domain signals obtained from the IMU system of each trick’s execution were extracted. Statistical analyses, including the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC), Cronbach alpha and correlation coefficients, were utilised to measure the scale’s reliability of the system. The results revealed no significant difference between Tests A and B of each trick p > 0.05, ICC > 0.80, Cronbach alpha > 0.80 and r > 0.80; p-value < 0.001. A relatively lower root means square error and mean absolute error were obtained, further suggesting the effectiveness of the system in detecting the similarities in the movement patterns of the skateboarder during the trick execution. The IMU system appeared to be reliable in measuring skateboarding tricks performances. The present findings could serve as guidelines for testing future, custom-made, IMU devices before the commencement of data collection.
This paper will discuss the importance of plants and animals in the fi eld of Malay traditional medicine ina book titled Sulalatus Salatin. If we notice, plants are vegetables and dishes are used as a daily meal.Meanwhile, animals supply the source of protein in food since ancient times until now.
