The introduction of Child Presence Detection (CPD) technology under the Child Occupant Protection (COP) pillar in the New Car Assessment Programme for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) Roadmap 2021-2025 should come with proper assessment methodology to evaluate the effectiveness of such technologies in a vehicle. This paper gives an overview of CPD systems and Vehicle Reminder Systems (VRS), together with their associated technologies. Most importantly, a comprehensive assessment methodology for CPD and VRS that covers the vehicle preparation, occupants’ classifications (i.e., newborn, infant and toddler), assessment procedure, scoring criteria, and implementation plan is also presented. It is hoped that this work could contribute to ASEAN NCAP Roadmap 2021-2025, and gives valuable insights to relevant stakeholders such as the vehicle manufacturers and technology providers.

This study employed a quantitative approach with 100 respondents whose specific criteria of have watched the movie “Kalam-Kalam Langit”. Questionnaires were distributed offline and online using Google Forms. Nonprobability sampling was used for sampling techniques. The data analysis method was multiple regression analysis and multiple testing employing SPSS version 2.3 to determine the relationship of independent and dependent variables through mediating variables. The results show that there is a positive and significant effect of elements in the movie on cognitive and affective images. The results also show that affective and cognitive images have a significant positive effect of the elements in the movie “Kalam-Kalam Langit” on the visit intention of tourist attractions in the movie. However, the results showed that the cognitive image and the affective image did not mediate the effect of the elements in the movie on the visit intention of tourism destinations.
This study assesses the quality of Express Post service provided by PT Pos Indonesia with Quality Function Deployment Method (QFD). Approximately 90 customers of Express Post in Boyolali were selected through systematic sampling to gather their opinions. In the meantime, PT Pos Indonesia's Jakarta Central Office's Research and Development Department is involved to collect technical responses or activites. This study has identified 12 attributes of Express Post that require improvement. To solve the problems related to those attributes, this study has identified training on Express Post service standard operating procedure for new employees as the priority activity to be undertaken by PT Pos Indonesia since it has the most significant influence on the quality of Express Post. Child Presence Detection (CPD) is a safety system designed to assist drivers to prevent the consequences of mistakenly left children in closed parked vehicles. Recently, ASEAN NCAP has released its 2021-2025 Roadmap that outlines the implementation of CPD technology as an initiative to prevent such incidences from happening in the future. This paper aims to provide an overview of these CPD systems and their associated technologies that are readily embedded in vehicles, or commercially available in the market.
The need to reduce air pollutions produced by motor vehicle and traffic congestion is prominent as it improves human health and environmental destruction mitigation. Ridesharing programme is an effort to reduce traffic congestion without preventing people doing mobility and prohibiting them to buy motor vehicle. This paper addresses to investigate the determinant of university student to ridesharing programme. Four variables with descrete items were provided t respondents to be self selected. Those are home address status, type of driving licence, student’s travel behavior to university and intention of student to ridesharing programme. Those variables are analysed in to three models. By using Logistic Regression statictical analysis, this study shows that ridesharing programme intention is influenced by the behavior of student to travel to university. Meanwhile, student travel behavior is influenced by home address status and the ownership of driving licence of students.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
