In electrical engineering, electrical discharge can occur in gaseous, liquid or solid insulating medium. Localized dielectric breakdown that occur at a small portion of a solid or fluid electrical insulation under high voltage stress is called partial discharge (PD). This phenomenon can cause the material to breakdown if there is no proper action taken. Usually it begins within voids, cracks, or inclusions within a solid dielectric, at conductor-dielectric interfaces within solid and in bubbles within liquid dielectrics. In order to modify electrical properties of the original structure then nanocomposite need to be introduced. Nanocomposite is the original structure that has been inserted by nano component (nanofiller) such as silicone dioxide and titanium dioxide. Nanocomposites are also found in nature, for example in the structure of the abalone shell and bone. By adding nano component inside the original component, it can change the mechanical and electric properties. In this study, PD characteristics of polymer-natural rubber blends nanocomposite have been investigated. The samples of nanocomposites were developed by using extrusion method. The high voltage is applied at the electrode arrangement of the test sample. The signals of partial discharges are detected by CIGRE Method II and RC detector and the signals are transferred to the personal computer using LabViewTM software. The result from the software is analyzed to find out the PD characteristics. The results revealed that the highest PD numbers are compositions with no filler while the lowest PD numbers come from sample that use 4% SiO2 as its nanofiller. The physical morphology observation is also conducted to investigate the degradation of the samples.

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang Palm Kernel Meal (PKM) yang difermentasi selama 7 hari secara alami tanpa penambahan inokulum yang hasil fermentasi disebut dengan PKMK. Produk fermentasi ditambahkan telur Hermetia illucens L. (maggot) diinkubasi selama 14 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkkan adanya kenaikan berat dan panjang maggot. Analisis proksimat menunjukkan kenaikan berat kering, nitrogen total dan serat, tetapi terjadi penurunan lemak dan abu.

Abstract

-Partial discharges (PD) lead to the degradation of high voltage cables and accessories. PD activities occur due to the existence of impurities, voids, contaminants, defects and protrusions during the manufacture and installation of power cables. Commonly, insulation failures occur at cable joints and terminations, caused by inhomogeneous electric field distributions. In this work, a blend of natural rubber (NR) and linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) was investigated, and the optimal formulation of the blend that could resist PD was discussed. The experiments were conducted under a constant high voltage stress test of 6.5 kV AC and the magnitude of partial discharge activities was recorded using the CIGRE method II. Pattern analysis of PD signals was performed along with the interpretation of morphological changes. The results showed that the addition of 10 wt% of NR and 5 wt% of Alumina Trihydrate (ATH) provided promising results in resisting PD activities. However, as the NR content increased, more micropores existed, thus resulting in increased PD activities within the samples.

Work engagement is one of the important factors in the environment of an organization, because the positive impact of work engagement has a very significant influence on personal or organizational performance. This research was aimed at determining, in an empirical way, the connections between love of work, self-efficacy and the perception of organizational support, and military work engagement. The research used quantitative methods, and the methods of collection were in the form of scales, of the love of work, self-efficacy, the perception of organizational support, and work engagement. The population used for the research comprised all of the Tentara Nasional Indonesia - Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD - Indonesian Armed Forces - Army) personnel of Komando Distrik Militer (Kodim - Military District Command) X (not the real designation), between 35 and 60 years of age, of a range of ranks, with a minimum of 10 years of work experience. The sample data collection technique in the research employed probability, that being disproportioned stratified random sampling. The analysis technique for the research was that of multiple regression analysis. The results of the analysis indicated that love of work, self-efficacy and the perception of organizational support, jointly, have significant connections with a Regression Coefficient of R = .525, with the variables of love of work, self-efficacy, and perception of organizational support jointly making an effective contribution to the work engagement of the military personnel of Kodim X, that being 27.5%.   Keterikatan kerja adalah salah satu faktor penting dalam lingkup organisasi, karena dampak positif dari keterikatan kerja berpengaruh sangat signifikan terhadap kinerja pribadi ataupun organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empirik hubungan cinta pekerjaan, efikasi diri, dan persepsi dukungan organisasi terhadap keterikatan kerja tentara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan alat pengumpulan data adalah skala, yang meliputi skala cinta pekerjaan, efikasi diri, persepsi dukungan organisasi, dan keterikatan kerja. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh personel Tentara Nasional Indonesia - Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD) di Komando Distrik Militer (Kodim) X yang berusia 35-60 tahun, dari berbagai jenis kepangkatan, dengan minimal masa kerja adalah 10 tahun, sementara teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan probability yaitu disproportioned stratified random sampling. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa secara bersama-sama cinta pekerjaan, efikasi diri, dan persepsi dukungan organisasi memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan koefisien regresi sebesar R = 0,525, dengan sumbangan efektif dari variabel cinta pekerjaan, efikasi diri, dan persepsi dukungan organisasi secara bersama-sama terhadap keterikatan kerja tentara di Kodim X adalah sebesar 27,5%.   Received 3 August 2019; Accepted 30 September 2019; Published 25 October 2019.
