La recherche d’un professionnel de santé mentale prend des contours inédits. De nouvelles demandes surgissent, réclamant des professionnels safe , critère indiquant leur appartenance à des groupes identitaires, ainsi qu’une forme d’« habilitation » dans l’accueil de problématiques liées à l’oppression. À partir du thème du psy safe dans le contexte français, nous questionnerons la recherche d’un professionnel de santé mentale dans son articulation avec l’appartenance à des catégories identitaires au Brésil. Nous reprendrons la conception freudienne de la neutralité de l’analyste afin d’établir dans quelle mesure celle-ci s’oppose ou non aux enjeux présents dans ces nouvelles demandes. À partir d’une réflexion sur l’articulation entre réalité socioculturelle et travail analytique, en considérant les régimes de normativité et sa mise en scène dans le champ clinique, nous interrogerons également comment ce phénomène concerne notre implication en tant qu’analystes.
