The mathematical ability of Indonesian students is still very low compared to other countries. One alternative to overcome the problem is by creating learning instructional that allows students to learn well. Most of learning instructional developed today do not accommodate the student learning styles especially in schools that have classified students based on multiple intelligences. The dominant intelligences in the classroom are intrapersonal and interpersonal. The purpose of this research is to produce a mathematics learning instructional based on Discovery Learning approach that are valid, practical, and effective for junior high school students with intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence. These instructional are developed using a development model adapted from the Plomp model. The development process of these instructional consists of 3 phases: front-end analysis/preliminary research, development/prototype phase and assessment phase. From the preliminary research results, we obtain that the intrapersonal student learning outcomes are not different from interpersonal. Teachers and students desperately need learning instructional with simple language and can guide students to understand the subject matter.
Low high-level thinking skills (HOTS) of students, especially in physics can not be separated from the process of learning activities of students in schools that have not emphasized the student-centered. One problem is the books or reading material that is used by high school physics students and teachers have not led to the aspects of cognitive domains that are part of high-level thinking skills. Based on those developed for high school physics textbook using concept maps in both the material and the exposure to examples and exercises for students. The study aims to gain if the book is worth to be used in schools. Development model used in this study is a model of Plomp. ModelPlomp consists of three stages of development that preliminary research (initial investigation), prototyping phase (phase prototypes) and assessment phase (phase assessment). To assess the feasibility of this book used some experts consisting of several professors of physics and school physics teacher. The results of the feasibility test of power obtained an average score of 3.65 with very good category. Feasibility in terms of the depth of material, kesesuai with the development of the students thought patterns and linkage map concept with high-level thinking skills. While the results of feasibility assessment of conformity with the curriculum, the ease of understanding the text, the feasibility of the exercise presented by the teachers obtained a score of 3.80. The main idea of world maritime has been launched by the Indonesia’s Government through the development of inter-island connectivity, namely a logistics distribution line system using cargo ships with scheduled routes. However, in terms of inter-island sea transportation connectivity using sea transportation, the number of ships used for loading and unloading activities at Tanjung Priok in 2020 reached 11,876 units, which number decreased by 12.6% compared to the previous year, this figure was not sufficient for transportation of Indonesian loading and unloading goods (exports). This condition is important to note because the implementation of sea transportation, especially for sea toll transportation, if it cannot reach all regions, will cause freight transportation in some areas to be limited and regional economic growth cannot be distributed evenly. The purpose of this study is to predict the number of goods loaded (exported) at the Port of Tanjung Priok, by establishing an export forecasting model. Exogenous variable in the form of the Indonesian Wholesale Price Index. After analyzing the data, the order of the ARIMA model (5,1,1) was obtained as a parameter to estimate the ARIMAX model. From the ARIMAX model (5,1,1), the model's accuracy rate is 13.25% which is quite feasible to use to predict the total export cargo for the period January 2021-December 2021. Forecasting results show better fluctuations than in 2020.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
