Adversity quotient is one of the intelligences possessed by a person in managing difficulties into a challenge that must be resolved to achieve certain goals. So that the adversity quotient must be owned by students to face various difficulties in completing lectures. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, student activity became limited, both in following the learning process and guidance in completing final assignments in the form of a thesis, which was increasingly difficult. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of adversity quotient of students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study numbered 237 students and were selected using proportional random sampling technique. This study uses an adversity quotient scale with a reliability level of 0.924 in the very good category. The data analysis technique used the score range/categorization formula. The results showed 7.2% or 17 guidance and counseling students had low adversity quotient, 67.1% or 159 students had medium adversity quotient and 25.7% or 61 students had high adversity quotient. It can be concluded that students in general tend to have a moderate adversity quotient during the Covid-19 epidemic. These findings indicate it is necessary to conduct a college level counseling and guidance program to increase the adversity quotient of students.
This study focuses on the role of women as a head of a family, especially who work as a trader in Baruga Market of Kendari to fulfill their families' needs. This research is a descriptive qualitative study. The data are collected from the interviews of the widows and the head of the Baruga Market, complemented by the results of observation on the activities of the widows in the market. The results indicate that the widows have a very significant role to finance their family. In the Islamic law perspective, this is relevant to aspects of maintenance of offspring as part of the maqasid al-shari'a theory. On the other hand, they have many problems, such as, employment, social, economic problems and the problems related to their families. While the strategies to solve their problems are creating a work motivation, organize family expenses, maintain good relations with the others, do marketing strategy and manage the time between family and work affairs. The implications of this research are the need for special attention from the government, social organizations and society to women as a head of a family and the need to strengthen their position by the state on a normative side and in terms of policies that could improve their lives. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data utama adalah wawancara kepada janda pedagang dan pengelola Pasar Baruga Kota Kendari serta hasil observasi pada aktivitas berdagang para pedagang pasar Baruga kota Kendari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa janda pedagang Pasar Baruga dalam posisinya sebagai kepala keluarga memiliki peran yang sangat signifikan dalam pemenuhan nafkah keluarga. Dalam perspektif hukum Islam, hal ini sejalan dengan aspek pemeliharaan keturunan sebagai bagian dari maqasid alsyariah. Namun di lain sisi, mereka sering diperhadapkan pada problema-problema tertentu, seperti problematika dalam pekerjaan, problematika sosial, problematika ekonomi dan problematika keluarga. Sedangkan strategi yang mereka lakukan untuk mengatasi problema tersebut adalah motivasi kerja keras untuk masa depan
Latihan asertif dalam pendekatan konseling behavioral adalah sebuah cara yang digunakan untuk mengajarkan individu mengenai cara mengekspresikan perasaan positif dan negatif secara terbuka dan langsung. Hal ini menjadi penting karena seorang individu memiliki hak untuk mengekspresikan perasaannya secara terbuka. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diberbagai tempat didunia, latihan asertif merupakan teknik yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial seperti prilaku asertifitas, kemampuan individu dalam mengekspresikan perasaan, dan keterampilan berkomunikasi secara terbuka kepada orang lain. Tulisan ini akan membahas efektifitas latihan asertif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial individu.
This research is motivated by the existence of consumptive behavior among students. This condition occurs because students tend to respond to various changes in the world of fashion. Consumptive behavior can be overcome by increasing self-management to control consumptive behavior. This study aims to determine the effect of self-management on consumptive behavior. The research method used is a quantitative method using a simple random sampling technique to 95 students. The instruments used were consumptive behavior instruments and self-management instruments. The number of instrument items used was 75 items that met the requirements for the validity and reliability of the instrument. Analysis of the data used in this study using inferential statistical analysis.
Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yakni adanya tindakan-tindakan tertentu untuk memperbaiki proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Sujek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 11 Loghia pada semester I Tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan jumlah siswa 22 orang. Sumber data yaitu guru dan siswa. Pelaksanaan PTK ini terdiri dari 2 siklus, masing-masing siklus dilaksanakan dalam 2 kali pertemuan. Adapun prosedur penelitian ini adalah: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi, (4) evaluasi, (5) refkelsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis surat undangan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 11 Loghia standar kompetensi menulis surat undangan dapat ditingkatkan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil belajar siswa pada tahun 2016/2017 hanya mencapai 62% meningkat setelah melakukan PTK siklus I ketuntasan belajar mencapai 72,73% dengan nilai rata-rata 63,03 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 90,91% dengan nilai rata-rata 81,81. Aktivitas mengajar guru juga meningkat pada siklus I dari 22 aspek yang diamati 16 aspekatau 72,73% yang terlaksana pada siklus II keseluruhan aspek yang diamati telah terlaksana dengan maksimal, selanjutnya aktivitas belajar siswa siklus I dari 16 aspek diamati 7 aspek atau 43,75% yang terlaksana dan pada siklus II keseluruhan aspek yang diamati telah terlaksana dengan maksimal.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif; Tipe STAD; Kemampuan Menulis
