Jadassohn nevus is a congenital hamartoma that is characterized by natural evolution in three stages, with a risk of malignancies occurring in the last phase. This benign adnexal tumor often affects the face and scalp. Dermoscopy can provide a major help for detecting transforming tumors. We report the case of a senile sebaceous Nevus which has been diagnosed after the occurrence of Basal cell carcinoma in a 60 years old man. The originality of this observation remains in the rarity of the pseudo glandular basal cell carcinoma that, in the best of our knowledge, has never been reported in underlying nevus sebaceous.
The ganglionic melanoma without cutaneous primitive is a rare entity, and that constitutes a challenge for the dermatologist, which pushes him to repeat his dermatological examination several times while searching for the primitive. Case report: We describe the case of a patient aged 73 years, with asymptomatic left inguinal swelling. Dermatologic examination found vitiligo-like leukoderma with a 2% body surface, and 2 cm left inguinal lymphadenopathy, with no inflammatory signs. Histology and immunohistochemistry favored ganglionic melanoma. The complete assessment did not reveal other metastases. the patient benefited from extensive excision with radiotherapy and then chemotherapy without recurrence. Conclusion: ganglionic melanoma without mucocutaneous primitive suggests a high probability of cutaneous regression of a metastatic melanoma, especially if the patient presents a vitiliginous reaction.
Lichen aureus is a pigmented purpuric dermatosis that typically presents with the acute onset of a solitary, unilateral, purple to rust-yellow colored lichenoid patch or plaque on lower extremities1. We presented a 53-year-old woman consulted for the management of asymptomatic lesions. The dermatological examination revealed a purpuric infiltrated placard on the anterior surface of the left leg, dermoscopy and skin biopsy confirmed diagnostic of lichen aureus. Lichen aureus is a rare entity whose diagnosis remains difficult from where the interest of the dermoscopy to retain the diagnosis.
