The main purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship betweengreen recruitment and selection and its impact on environmental performance ofMedical Teaching Institutions (MTIs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Previously the green HRM functions are not studied in Medical Institutes in Peshawar. For this purpose data was collected through adapted questionnaire from 250 medical practitioners from 3 large hospitals in Peshawar. Data analyzed with the SmartPLS 4 software. The result of the study shows that Green Recruitment and Green Selection have positive impact on organizational environmental performance. This is a significant research that sheds insight on how human resource functions might contribute to environmental performance in health care companies, namely hospitals. It promotes the underdeveloped literature on Green HRM and environmental performance in developing countries like Pakistan.
