The article considers the problem of formation and development of pedagogical neglect. Pedagogical neglect of minors is associated with the peculiarities of their social situation and is due to psychological and pedagogical reasons.
The problem of pedagogical neglect is considered from the point of view of various sciences, including pedagogy. The article lists the reasons for the formation of this phenomenon. The interrelation of pedagogical neglect and the commission of offenses by minors is described. The influence of family and other socio-psychological factors on the attitude of a minor to education and upbringing is also emphasized. The status and situation of juvenile delinquents in the educational team is analyzed.
Pedagogically neglected children, due to improper upbringing, can quickly adjust when the conditions of upbringing or training change. The article presents measures of psychological and pedagogical influence in order to stimulate a minor to activity.
