El concepto de relación de equivalencia describe la práctica prolongada del hombre consigo mismo y con la sociedad, es decir, marca un paso de lo singular a lo plural, una búsqueda entre los objetos o conceptos que poseen algún tipo de correspondencia para luego clasificarlos en equivalentes o no equivalentes. Las relaciones de equivalencia son un producto cultural que han acompañado al hombre en sus diferentes estadios históricos, pero que se vuelve invisible la mayoría de las veces por su cotidianidad, por consiguiente, existen diferentes conceptos matemáticos, que se encuentran aislados por el hecho de no evidenciar su aplicabilidad en la vida diaria. Otro aspecto esencial sobre las relaciones de equivalencia es que figuran como mecanismos imprescindibles para comprender la funcionalidad o comportamiento de diversas cosas que se conjugan en sus similitudes o bien que a partir de sus diferencias muestran aspectos que permiten definirse cierto tipo de relación. En este sentido y bajo la filosofía de mostrar un itinerario del concepto de relación de equivalencia se presentan ejemplificaciones detalladas en diversos contextos y niveles educativos, así como la correspondiente determinación de: clases de equivalencia y conjunto cociente.
Este trabajo aborda la técnica iteración variacional que es un método iterativo para resolver ecuaciones no lineales de la forma f(x)=0. En este sentido, el objetivo principal es generar nuevos algoritmos y esquemas iterativos que permitan obtener nuevas fórmulas y métodos iterativos. Se crean nuevas fórmulas mediante procedimientos matemáticos basados en las variantes del método de Newton y las técnicas de iteración variacional. Además, se expresan los desarrollos constructivos de los principales esquemas iterativos. Se obtienen los principales esquemas iterativos de cada método mediante la deducción de su construcción, así como el análisis de convergencia mediante la aplicación computacional en el lenguaje de programación Python. Se ejemplifican y se calculan raíces de ecuaciones no lineales de algunas funciones bases, utilizadas en los artículos científicos consultados, las cuales tienen características de ser continuas y diferenciables. Por otra parte, se realiza una comparación entre algunos de los algoritmos existentes y los diseñados en esta investigación, utilizando los criterios de máximo y mínimo número de evaluaciones funcionales. Dichos aspectos son piezas fundamentales para la validez de los nuevos algoritmos. Según los resultados obtenidos después de las diversas comparaciones, los algoritmos presentan un excelente funcionamiento con respecto a los existentes en la literatura sobre esta área de conocimiento.
Los sólidos platónicos son cinco cuerpos geométricos que comparten un conjunto de características geométricas similares. También reciben el nombre de sólidos perfectos, poliedros platónicos y de cuerpos cósmicos entre otras denominaciones. Los sólidos platónicos son poliedros regulares y convexos dentro de ellos están: tetraedro, cubo (o hexaedro), octaedro, dodecaedro e icosaedro. Este trabajo presenta las deducciones matemáticas de las fórmulas de áreas y volúmenes de los sólidos platónicos. El objetivo central es demostrar el análisis geométrico para obtener las fórmulas de áreas y volúmenes, a su vez reconocer que el estudio de las diferentes técnicas y métodos de demostración permiten aplicar el cálculo de áreas y volumen a la resolución de problemas prácticos que se presentan en diversas situaciones demostrativas de la matemática. Cabe destacar que estas formas de demostraciones están basadas en las propiedades básicas comunes de los objetos geométricos clásicos de la geometría. Por otra parte, el concepto de área y de volumen se generaliza a diversas figuras cerradas permitiendo así una mayor generalidad sobre dichos conceptos para construirse mediante otras estrategias de enseñanzas y aprendizaje. Finalmente, se realiza la programación de dichas fórmulas de áreas y volúmenes en el lenguaje de programación de alto nivel Python, utilizando el paradigma de programación funcional.

En este sentido, el objetivo principal es generar nuevos algoritmos y esquemas iterativos que permitan obtener nuevas fórmulas y métodos iterativos. También se estudia el desarrollo constructivo y la convergencia de cada uno de los métodos presentados bajo los cuales la técnica iteración variacional figura como eje fundamental para la resolución de diversos tipos de ecuaciones no lineales, por consiguiente, se crean nuevas fórmulas mediante procedimientos matemáticos basados en las variantes del método de Newton y las técnicas de iteración variacional. La obtención de los principales esquemas iterativos de cada método mediante la deducción de su construcción, así como el análisis de convergencia mediante la aplicación computacional se realizaron en el lenguaje de programación Python. En efecto, se ejemplifican y se calculan raíces de ecuaciones no lineales de algunas funciones bases, utilizadas en los artículos científicos consultados, las cuales tienen características de ser continuas y diferenciables.
