RESUMO -O aumento na produção de glicerol, nos últimos anos, se deu pelas constantes pesquisas por fontes alternativas de energia, gerando uma demanda na busca por novas tecnologias para sua purificação. Entre os vários processos de separação, a adsorção se apresenta como uma opção favorável para a remoção dos contaminantes do glicerol, devido ao seu baixo custo e simplicidade de operação. Diante disso, esse trabalho propõe o estudo cinético e termodinâmico do processo de adsorção para purificação do glicerol, utilizando diferentes adsorventes, sendo eles: Argila clarificante Pure-Flo Supreme B81, carvão ativado e terra diatomácea. Para isso, foi utilizada uma solução sintética de glicerol, constituída de glicerina PA e óleo de soja. Os resultados obtidos em diferentes temperaturas mostram que os dados experimentais foram bem relacionados com as isotermas de Langmuir, Freundlich e Redlich-Peterson. Os valores negativos da variação da energia livre de Gibbs indica que a adsorção do óleo de soja é um processo espontâneo, enquanto que a entalpia, negativa para a argila e o carvão, e positivo para a terra, indicam que o processo de adsorção é endotérmico e exotérmico, respectivamente. INTRODUÇÃONos últimos anos tem-se observado o crescente interesse em estudos aplicados às energias alternativas em detrimento das provenientes do petróleo, devido às mudanças climáticas e aos impactos ambientais. Combustíveis como o biodiesel tem se mostrado atraentes, devido ao seu apelo ambiental, podendo ser produzidos utilizando óleos vegetais, de fritura ou gordura animal. Diante disso, o biodiesel é produzido pela reação de transesterificação de óleos vegetais ou gordura animal (SILVA et al., 2009). O aumento na produção de biodiesel aumenta a produção de glicerol como subproduto, ocasionando na desvalorização do mercado (DASARI et al., 2005).O glicerol pode apresentar impurezas diversas, como: álcool não reagido, água, sais inorgânicos (provenientes do catalisador não reagido), óleo de soja não hidrolisado, ácidos graxos livres, entre outras impurezas oriundas da matéria prima, as quais diminuem o preço do produto já que inviabilizam sua utilização em diversas indústrias. Para tal, seria necessário um processo de purificação; todavia o mesmo é geralmente caro, inviabilizando certas produções (CHUN-HUI et al., 2008).
Ao longo da vida, a mulher desempenha inúmeros papéis dentro da família. No papel de sogra, muitos desafios são acionados. Quando o relacionamento entre sogra e nora é conflituoso, crises familiares e rompimentos vinculares podem ser desencadeados, comprometendo a saúde mental e a qualidade de vida das famílias envolvidas. O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar a percepção do relacionamento sogra/nora, sob a ótica da sogra. Participaram do estudo 175 sogras residentes em Porto Alegre, RS. As participantes responderam a questionários com questões abertas e fechadas. Os resultados mostraram que 79% das sogras avaliaram como boa sua relação com a nora. As sogras com maior renda e maior nível educacional apresentaram maior percentual de percepção negativa em relação a suas noras (p<005). Não foi encontrada associação significativa entre suporte financeiro e cuidado dos netos. Os dados sugerem a necessidade de mais estudos com amostra populacional para investigar melhor estas associações.
RESUMO -O aumento na produção de biodiesel nos últimos anos, dada a crescente demanda energética e necessidade do uso de fontes alternativas de energia em detrimento ao uso de combustível fóssil, tem atraído a necessidade do desenvolvimento de tecnologias para purificação do glicerol, principal subproduto gerado pela reação transesterificação de óleos vegetais e gordura animal. Entre os vários processos de purificação já existentes no mercado, a adsorção é uma técnica promissora na remoção de contaminantes do glicerol, dado ao seu baixo custo e simplicidade operacional. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo propõe a otimização do processo de purificação do glicerol, através de um planejamento experimental, utilizando três diferentes adsorventes (argila clarificante Pure-Flo Supreme B81, terra diatomácea e carvão ativado) e uma solução sintética de glicerina P.A. e óleo de soja comercial, simulando o glicerol bruto contaminado. Os resultados obtidos foram satisfatórios quando ao percentual de remoção de contaminantes. INTRODUÇÃONos últimos anos, com as mudanças climáticas e a crise energética causada pelo aumento no preço do petróleo e esgotamento dos combustíveis fósseis, houve a necessidade da busca de novas fontes de energia. Nesse contexto, o biodiesel vem se tornando uma alternativa viável para substituição dos combustíveis fósseis, resultado de incentivos políticos e governamentais, e é considerado promissor no mundo todo, por isso, sua produção tem crescido anualmente (DASARI et al., 2005).O biodiesel é produzido pela reação de transesterificação de óleos vegetais ou gorduras animais e a cada 3 mols de biodiesel produzidos, 1 mol é do subproduto glicerol, correspondendo a 10% do volume total da produção de biodiesel (SILVA et al., 2009) e, com isso, o aumento projetado para produção de biodiesel elevará também a quantidade do subproduto glicerol no mercado. Esse subproduto contém muitas impurezas inerentes à produção e a sua purificação aumenta seu valor agregado, ajudando na economia e viabilidade da produção de biodiesel, criando também uma alternativa para reduzir seu excesso (ANITHA et al., 2016). No entanto, a purificação é um processo dispendioso, sendo necessários novos métodos de purificação mais baratos e eficientes.
