This article aims to analyze the development of Islamic education in Indonesia and efforts to strengthen it in the national education system. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The study of literature by focusing on terms of peeling, summarizing and collecting a literature, then the authors provide an analysis of the data that has been collected. The results showed that during the pre-independence era religious education was not only not recognized but also not included in the education system, it was even suspected of being a place to incite and fight the invaders. At the time of independence it did not yet have a role because the government still tended to be controlled by nationalist and secular groups, if there were Islamic groups, Islam was still more abangan. Thus the New Order government continuously fostered the quality of madrasa education so that in 1975 a joint decree (SKB) was issued by three ministers on Improving the Quality of Education in Madrasas, where the SKB of the three ministers had advantages and disadvantages. So that the solution of this weakness is the government is trying to make breakthroughs to restore the function of the madrasa as a place to print religious leaders, namely by opening an alternative Madrasah Aliyah named Madrasah Aliyah Special Program (MAPK). Henceforth, this MAPK was changed to Madrasah Aliyah Religious (MAK) which focuses and strengthens the field of Islamic education. There are two strengthening of Islamic education in the national education system, namely strengthening Islamic educational institutions, and strengthening religious subjects in all schools both under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion and other Ministries. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pendidikan karakter yang menurut Muhammad Khudhari Bek dalam kitab Khulashah Nurul Yaqin, yaitu (1) Sejauh manakah Nilai Pendidikan Karakter dalam kitab Khulashah Nurul Yaqin karya Muhammad Khudhari Bek dibutuhkan dalam memahami moralitas Islam, (2) Bagaimana metode pengajaran yang digunakan Muhammad Khudhari Bek dalam kitab Khulashah Nurul Yaqin, dan (3) Bagaimanakah aplikasi Nilai Pendidikan Karakter pada kitab Khulāşah Nūrul Yaqīn dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Sumber data primer adalah kitab Khulashah Nurul Yaqin, sumber sekundernya adalah terjemahannya dan sumber tersiernya adalah kitab-kitab dan buku-buku lain yang bersangkutan dan relevan dengan penelitian. Temuan penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai pendidikan Karakter yang ada dalam kitab Khulashah Nurul Yaqin karya Muhammad Khudhari sangat relevan dengan kehidupan sekarang, pendidikan akhlak Rasulullah SAW sangat di butuhkan dalam mendidik karakter pada kehidupan sekarang karena Rasulullah SAW merupakan suritauladan dalam segala hal. Nabi Muhammad SAW telah menampilkan cermin kehidupan yang wawasannya demikian luas, seluas ragam kehidupan kita yang berkaitan dengan berbagai aspek dan profesi kita masing-masing. Model pendidikan karakter dalam kitab Khulashah Nurul yaqin ini menggunakan pendekatan uraian narasi dan pertanyaan, dengan niat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya kefahaman.Adapun aplikasi Nilai-Nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kitab Khulashah Nurul Yaqin dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dari sifat-sifat Rasulullah SAW yaitu: (1) shidiq, (2) Amanah, (3) Tabligh, (4) Fathanah. Clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) is an effort to spread experiences regarding healthy lifestyles through individuals, groups and the wider community with communication channels as a medium for sharing information. In the era of the new normal of the Covid-19 pandemic, clean and healthy living behaviors must continue to be applied to prevent the transmission of various diseases that cause illness and death. The main purpose of PHBS counseling is to create school communities who are health conscious and have the knowledge and awareness to live a life that maintains cleanliness and meets health standards. Counseling was carried out to 22 students of class VII MTs Riyadlatul Ulum who are also students of Islamic boarding schools. The counseling program started with an opening and remarks from representatives from the school, pre-test, counseling session, post-test, and the last closing and photo session. Overall, there is an increase of the average score from pre test and post test with the rise 0.14. Students are very enthusiastic about participating in outreach activities and it is hoped that there will be more health counseling held in their school so that students are more motivated to improve their health and the environment.
