Pada tahun 2019 merupakan tahun pertama seleksi bersama masuk perguruan tinggi negeri (SBMPTN) menggunakan portofolio bagi mahasiswa yang memilih program studi dalam bidang seni dan/atau olahraga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan teknik dasar bola basket pada mahasiswa pendidikan jasmani yang masuk melalui jalur SBMPTN pada tahun 2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan sampel sebanyak 130 mahasiswa yang berusia 17-21 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes passing ke dinding dengan jarak 3 meter selama 30 detik, tes shooting selama 30 detik, dan tes menggiring bola dengan zig zag. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh infomasi bahwa rata-rata kemampuan teknik dasar bola basket mahasiswa berada pada kategori cukup berdasarkan penilaian acuan nilai (PAN). Perlu adanya perbandingan antara penerimaan mahasiswa melalui jalur lain agar dapat diketahui perbedaan kemampuan mahasiswa pada masing-masing jalur penerimaan berdasarkan cabang olahraga yang diajarkan pada jurusan yang memiliki program studi olahraga agar didapatkan data yang lebih komprehensif.
Learning approaches, such as tactical approach and technical approach, have been widely discussed for promoting physical activity in physical education learning. The application of a suitable learning approach becomes an important issue related to different fitness level of individual. The purpose of this study was to investigate the results of basketball skill learning by applying the learning approaches based on the physical fitness level of adolescent students. A 2 x 2 factorial design (ANOVA) was applied in this study. Forty junior high school male students were involved in this study. They were divided into 4 groups, including 2 high physical fitness groups and 2 low physical fitness groups by applying the tactical approach and technical approach. This study used the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) instrument for the junior high school level and basketball skill test instruments, including passing, shooting, and dribbling tests. The results showed that, overall, students who received the tactical approach were better than students who received the technical approach. In the high physical fitness student group, the tactical learning approach showed a significant impact compared to the technical approach. However, in the students with low physical fitness group, the technical approach had a better effect on the students' basketball skills. It concludes that the two learning approaches are proven to be able to improve the outcomes of basketball skill learning. For that reason, it is recommended to teach basketball skills using a tactical approach to students with good physical fitness. However, if students have low physical fitness, it is suggested that technical learning approaches is given.
This study aims to determine the learning motivation of Physical Education (PE) in elementary school students. This research uses the Descriptive method. The subject of research is elementary school student grade 4 about 9 - 11 years as many as 42 students. The instrument used in this study is Electronic Rubric for Motivation in Physical Education (eRMoPE) with 37 question items. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical techniques. The results showed that the students’ motivation in following the PE learning on the average achievement was 63.64%. It is necessary to have an approach or innovation in learning so that it can improve the motivation achievement of students’ physical education.
This study aimed to determine the use of technical approaches usingmotivational techniques in learningand its influence on the students' basic mobility in elementary schools. This study was an experimental research with a non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group design. Forty-two elementary students in Tasikmalaya were involved as the participants. The instrument used in this study was an eye-hand coordination test conducted by calculating the number of the captured balls after being reflected to the wall for 30 seconds. The results of this study indicated that the teaching by invitation technique could enhance students' eye and hand coordination skills in elementary schools. The application of this type of technical approach also encouraged the students to be more enthusiastic in participating in the learning process because they could choose their own type of assignments according to their desires and abilities. Further study is necessary to find out its influence on different levels of education.
