Tujuan dari implementasi Management Bandwidth dengan menggunakan Queue Tree ini untuk memberikan Quality Of Service yang baik bagi seluruh pengguna internet di PT Rekan Usaha Mikro Anda Cabang Tegal. Latar belakang dalam hal ini adalah karena sering terjadi pembagian bandwidth yang tidak merata pada setiap user yang mengakibatkan satu user dapat mengakses internet dengan cepat dan user lain mengakses internet lebih lambat dibandingkan user lainya. PT Rekan Usaha Mikro Anda adalah perusahaan yang berbasis teknologi dengan misi sosial untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat berpenghasilan rendah agar dapat hidup mapan dan mempunyai daya saing. Berdiri sejak tahun 2009, saat ini PT Rekan Usaha Mikro Anda memiliki 51 cabang yang tersebar di pulau Jawa dan Bali, dan akan terus mengembangkan jaringannya di seluruh wilayah di Indonesia. PT, Rekan Usaha Mikro Anda merupakan mitra dari PT Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa atau yang yang biasa dikenal dengan GOJEK. Perusahaan ini bergerak dalam bidang penjualan dan pengiriman barang-barang elektronik maupun kebutuhan rumah tangga dengan sistem penjualanya berbentuk arisan barang. Dengan menerapkan Management Bandwidth di PT Rekan Usaha Mikro Anda Cabang Tegal menggunakan Queue Tree ini dengan metode Per Connection Queue (PCQ) diharapkan penggunan internet akan lebih terkontrol dan stabil karena setiap user akan mendapatkan akses internet dengan alokasi bandwidth yang merata.
Writing is an activity of expressing ideas or ideas through the painting of graphic symbols that are not only understood by the author but can also be understood by others as a form of indirect communication. A procedure text is a text that contains explanations or instructions about the steps or stages that are systematically arranged and must be taken to achieve the goal. The fact shows that students' writing skills are deficient, especially in learning to write procedure texts. Applying the incubation learning model is expected to improve the quality of learning to write complex procedure texts. The implementation of this research was carried out with two objectives. First, this study examines the significant difference in the ability to write procedural texts between students who received learning with the incubation learning model and those who received learning without the incubation learning model in class XI Mathematics and Natural Sciences 2 in a Senior High School in Lampung, Indonesia. Second, to test the effectiveness of the incubation learning model in learning to write procedural texts in class XI Mathematics and Natural Sciences 1 in a Senior High School in Lampung, Indonesia. This study used quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design without randomization (Randomized Pretest-Posttest control group design). The sampling technique used is a purposive technique based on special considerations. The assessment results will be used as analysis data according to descriptive statistical procedures using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) computer program package for Windows Version 16. The results show that the incubation learning model effectively improves the ability to write procedural texts in class XI middle school students.
This study aims to study the effectiveness of the integration of teaching reading and writing based on critical thinking skills (ITRWCT) in improving the ability to write argumentative essays. The method used is a quasi-experimental method by dividing participants into experimental and control groups. This study involved 260 high school-level students divided into experimental and control groups of 130 students each. The research findings show first that ITRWCT can improve argumentation writing skills. The improvement is seen in the depth, logical organisation and criticality, cohesion, coherence, and use of language used in writing argumentative essays. Second, ITRWCT is able to significantly improve students' critical thinking skills. The improvement of students' critical thinking skills can be seen in the ability to analyse and evaluate the logic used in argumentative essays. And third, students' attitudes towards the design of this instruction generally provide a positive response, they like and are interested in the activities in the learning process. So, this ITRWCT learning instruction is able to improve the ability to write argumentative essays, students' critical thinking skills and student attitudes. Recommendations for further research include a wider sample, involving gender variables, requiring longer interventions to obtain a more optimal intervention effect and needing to be strengthened by qualitative analysis. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of teaching reading and writing skills based on critical thinking skills in improving argumentative essay writing skills. Quasi-experimental was used as a research method involving 250 high school level students, divided into experimental and control groups, each consisting of 125 students. The experimental group received an instructional design intervention, while the control group received regular intervention in writing argumentative essays. The research findings show first that this instructional design can improve the ability to write argumentative essays. Depth, logical organization, and criticality, cohesion, coherence, and the use of language used in writing argumentation essays have increased. In addition, instructional design is also able to improve students' critical thinking skills. The improvement of students' critical thinking skills can be seen in the ability to analyze and evaluate the logic used in argumentative essays. So, the integration of reading, writing, and critical thinking skills can improve the ability to write argumentative essays, students' critical thinking, and student attitudes and responses.
The application of digital technology can provide solutions to community problems, especially in the education sector. But there are still many teachers whose teaching abilities have not been supported by these digital technologies. SDN 14 Bonto-Bonto located in Pangkep Regency is the place for the digital learning training process as well as a form of community service carried out by the team of the Informatics Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University. This activity is also a venue for socialization and introduction of research results from lecturers and students. Digital learning models can be divided into 2 namely electronic based learning and internet based. Some digital learning methods taught include Augmented Reality, Mind Mapping, and Educational Games. Augmented Reality is a technology that involves overlaying computer graphics in the real world, where three-dimensional virtual worlds can be brought into real-world environments in real-time. Learning to use AR makes students' visual appeal in learning as well as educational games. Mind Mapping is a learning method in the form of visualizing ideas, thoughts or plans to form interconnected diagrams. With this method, students are trained to think structured and easy to solve problems. Mind mapping application itself has been widely available and can be downloaded for free. The training in developing digital learning media that is held is expected to help teachers and students understand the concepts while at the same time foster motivation in learning. This service activity also adds insight to teachers about new learning methods that can make the learning process more enjoyable.
