This research is motivated by a change in learning methods that were initially face-to-face to online learning that resulted from the COVOD-19 outbreak. The purpose of this study was to analyze the mathematical resilience of elementary school students during learning during the COVOD-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is descriptive method with 36 elementary school students as subjects in one of the primary schools in Majalengka district, West Java, Indonesia. The results of this study, mathematics resilience of elementary school students is in the medium category. The findings related to mathematics resilience of elementary school students namely resilience is not only influenced by the complexity of the material and changes in learning methods. However other factors such as the packaging of learning by the teacher, the media used by the teacher, and the communication used by the teacher also affect the mathematics resilience of elementary school students.
This study aims to determine the effect of the STEM approach on mathematics literacy abilities of elementary school teacher education students. The method used in this research is pre-experimental with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design with a population of semester 2 PGSD students with a total of 188 students. The sample in this study was 50 students. The instruments used include: mathematics literacy ability tests, interviews, and observation instruments. The results showed that: 1) there was an effect of the STEM approach on the mathematics literacy ability of elementary school teacher education students; 2) to further optimize learning it must be prepared more thoroughly and planned, 3) the role of educators or lecturers in applying models or approaches must be adapted to the demands of 21st-century skills.
Mining crimes on the development of environmental law issues in Indonesia are not only carried out by individuals but also by corporations. The violations committed by mining corporations are a violation of criminal law. Company management related must be responsible for the violations that occurred. Thus, the principle of ultimum remedium is very important for the enforcement of criminal law in environmental issues. The main problems in this research study are how the corporation's responsibility towards environmental criminal law violations and the application of the principle of ultimum remedium in the enforcement of environmental criminal law. The research method used was normative juridical and descriptive-analytical. The results of the study show that the applications of the principle of ultimum remedium in mining criminal law are not implemented following the applicable laws and regulations. The law No. 4 of 2009 regarding Minerals and Coal states that the environmental law enforcement violations must be settled through administrative law first, before being settled in criminal law as an embodiment of the ultimum remedium principle.
This research is motivated by the low ability of students’ understanding of concepts in learning mathematics multiplication material. Mathematics learning requires a learning approach that can make students active and student-centered. If mathematics learning is not student-centered, it will lead to boredom which will ultimately make learning unattractive. Therefore, the researcher chose the constructivism approach to improve student learning activities and understanding students’ concepts. This study uses classroom action research and was conducted at SDIT Altaftazani. The results of this study, it appears that student learning activities increase. Students become more active in learning, besides that formative test results also show a good level of student understanding of 35.7% is very good, 35.7% is good and 17.8% is sufficient and only 10.8% is still lacking.
Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) berpotensi menimbulkan kedaruratan kesehatan masyarakat.
