Composites of BaTiO3 and CoFe204 have been prepared with various compositions by double sintering method. The presence of the two phases has been confirmed by XRD. Variation of dielectric constant with temperature in these samples has beeaa studied. All the samples have shown linear magnetoelectric conversion in the presence of static magnetic field. The magnetoelectric effect (dE/dH) has been studied as a function of intensity of magnetic field. The maximum value of the conversion factor (dH/dH)mjx was found to be 0"16 mV/cra/Oe.
Ceramic samples of Lio. 1Bao.95(VxTil_x)O3, where x = 0 to 0-2 were prepared by solid state reaction method. The samples were characterized by XRD. The dielectric measurements have been carried out on the sintered disks as a function of the frequency (100Hz-1 MHz) and temperature (300-420K). The variation of dielectric constant with temperature indicates a diffuse phase transition in all the samples studied.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
