Resumo Este estudo buscou investigar a experiência de atuação dos agentes comunitários de saúde em relação aos indivíduos que vivem com HIV/Aids em áreas de risco social. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, realizada no ano de 2015 com agentes comunitários atuantes em município de médio porte do estado de São Paulo, Brasil. A produção das narrativas foi realizada pelo método do grupo focal, interpretadas e analisadas por meio da análise temática de conteúdo. O preconceito apresentou-se como a principal causa das dificuldades de atuação dos agentes; porém, a criação do vínculo com os usuários, aliada à conquista da confiança, foi a principal potencialidade nas ações desses profissionais. Torna-se essencial o rompimento da barreira gerada pelo preconceito para uma efetiva atuação dos agentes comunitários de saúde nos territórios, para que possam colaborar com o acolhimento desses usuários e com a redução dos efeitos da vulnerabilidade existente.
Resumo Este estudo buscou avaliar a relação entre fatores sociodemográficos e o impacto na Qualidade de Vida Relacionada à Saúde Bucal (QVRSB), em gestantes brasileiras usuárias do Sistema Único de Saúde. Trata-se de um estudo epidemiológico observacional transversal, desenvolvido com gestantes residentes em duas regiões com características sociodemográficas distintas. Foram entrevistadas 1.777 puérperas. Um questionário estruturado e previamente testado coletou as variáveis sociodemográficas e o Oral Health Index Profile (OHIP-14) avaliou o impacto na QVRSB. A análise estatística foi realizada utilizando o teste Qui-quadrado e a regressão logística múltipla, ambos com significância de 5%. A dimensão “desconforto psicológico” foi a única com diferença entre as puérperas da RMGV e MRSM (p=0,042). Associou-se ao impacto na QVRSB as variáveis: residir na RMGV (OR=1,69; IC95%: 1,16-2,47); ter pouca escolaridade (OR=1,80; IC95%: 1,03-3,18) e realizar consulta odontológica durante a gestação (OR=2,15; IC95%: 1,50-3,07). Os fatores sociodemográficos devem ser considerados no planejamento das ações em saúde bucal das gestantes, pois influenciam no impacto na QVRSB.
RESUMOObjetivo: Analisar a visão dos acadêmicos do último ano do Curso de Odontologia sobre Educação em Saúde Bucal. Materiais e Métodos: A pesquisa, quanti-qualitativa, aborda aspectos relacionados com o entendimento dos acadêmicos sobre Educação em Saúde Bucal, o valor que atribuem a essa prática no âmbito escolar, bem como a importância da participação de atividades em outros cenários de práticas na formação. Resultados: Apesar de os acadêmicos reconhecerem a importância dos Programas de Educação em Saúde Bucal no âmbito escolar e também de sua participação nessas atividades, sua percepção sobre o que é "Educação em Saúde Bucal" é reducionista e centrada na doença. Conclusão: Sabe-se que tais fatos encontrados são reflexos e consequências de todo um contexto estabelecido na formação universitária. Tornase necessário, então, um profundo repensar de prática por parte de todos os formadores desses profissionais, para que possam desenvolver metodologias que privilegiem a Educação em Saúde em suas práticas de ensino. INTRODUÇÃOHá muito se vem observando a falência do paradigma curativista na área biomédica, refletindo no processo de formação de profissionais que atuam nessa área. Portanto, tornou-se essencial a mudança de cenários nos quais se realiza o processo ensinoaprendizagem para locais mais representativos da realidade sanitária e social brasileira, integrando serviço e pesquisa, visando a uma abordagem problematizadora, ao compromisso ético, humanístico e social 1 . Uma das principais ferramentas da promoção de saúde é a educação, na medida em que proporciona aos indivíduos o resgate de sua autonomia, a percepção de valores e conhecimentos, o desenvolvimento de uma visão crítica e do empoderamento da população. De acordo com L'Abbate 3 , todo profissional de saúde é um educador em saúde em potencial. É condição essencial para a sua prática o seu próprio reconhecimento como sujeito do processo educativo, evidenciando a relevância da formação desses profissionais com essa visão.O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar a percepção dos acadêmicos do Curso de Odontologia sobre o tema "Educação em Saúde Bucal", bem como investigar o valor e a importância que eles atribuem a essa prática desenvolvida em atividade curricular em outros cenários.
O Telessaúde/ES, com o auxílio de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC), promove a ampliação da Educação Permanente à Saúde (EPS) aos profissionais atuantes nas equipes de Estratégia Saúde da Família (ESF) do estado do Espírito Santo. O presente estudo objetivou apresentar uma proposta de um ambiente virtual em Odontologia, no âmbito do Telessaúde/ES, proporcionando um espaço exclusivo de compartilhamento de informações às Equipes de Saúde Bucal (ESB). Trata-se de uma pesquisa-ação, método adequado para propor soluções para a melhoria do acesso e utilização das ferramentas do Telessaúde/ES pelas ESB mediante às necessidades identificadas. Em 2017, o Telessaúde Bucal iniciou suas atividades no Telessaúde/ES, disponibilizando os serviços de webpalestras, teleconsultorias assíncronas e síncronas e materiais oficiais da área, ofertados na última sexta-feira de cada mês. O ambiente virtual de Telessaúde Bucal apresentado estará incluso no espaço de “Programas Especiais”, permitindo o acesso a qualquer serviço. O Telessaúde Bucal é um serviço que poderá promover conhecimento e troca de experiências para a efetivação da EPS, estimulando maior participação dos profissionais da Odontologia.
