The problem of terrorism frequently remains beyond the scope of literary studies: terrorism is a sphere of historical science. It determines the relevance and originality of the study devoted to the poorly investigated literary criticism problem associated with terrorism understanding. By the example of the Russian literary works of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries (L. Andreev, M. Osorgin et. al) and the XX-XXI centuries (Z. Prilepin, A. Terekhov, O. Slavnikova) the article describes the basic types of heroes-terrorists and compares the writers’ attitude towards terrorism.
The article examines the types of families in children’s and adolescent literature of the XIX - the beginning of the XXI century. Intra-family relations have been analysed using the classification of psychologists-researchers Zhukova, Zaporozhets and Shishkina, Korchagina. The authors conclude that the XIX century is characterized by the prevalence of complete, nuclear, one-child, urban families experiencing crisis. In the XX century, child-centred, complete, one-child and nuclear families dominate. A similar situation is observed in the XXI century: prevalence of complete, child-centred, one-child and urban families.
