Abstract. The article considers the questions of application of nondestructive methods control of reducers of conveyor belts as a means of transport. Particular attention is paid to such types of diagnostics of technical condition as thermal control and analysis of the state of lubricants. The urgency of carrying out types of nondestructive testing presented in the article is determined by the increase of energy efficiency of transport systems of coal and mining enterprises, in particular, reducers of belt conveyors. Periodic in-depth spectral-emission diagnostics and monitoring of a temperature mode of operation oil in the operation of the control equipment and its technical condition and prevent the MTBF allows the monitoring of the actual technical condition of the gearbox of a belt conveyor. In turn, the thermal imaging diagnostics reveals defects at the earliest stage of their formation and development, which allows planning the volumes and terms of equipment repair. Presents diagnostics of the technical condition will allow monitoring in time the technical condition of the equipment and avoiding its premature failure. Thereby it will increase the energy efficiency of both the transport system and the enterprise as a whole, and also avoid unreasonable increases in operating and maintenance costs.
Abstract. Paper studies the problem of non-failure operation of dump trucks hydraulic system that is exploited in the climatic conditions of Kuzbass region. The main characteristic of the Kuzbass climate is hardly continental, so, it has sharp fluctuations in ambient temperature for seasons, for a month or even a day. To analyze the negative factors affecting the operation of the dump trucks hydraulic system a systematic approach was used, based on the methodology of SADT structural analysis. The result of field and cameral researches identified that the major negative factor is instability of kinematic viscosity of working fluids used in the hydraulic system of mining dump trucks over a wide range of ambient temperatures. There were offered the further ways for methods to stabilize the parameters of working fluids in the hydraulic system of dump trucks.
The article presents the method of controlled modification of engine oil, as well as the results of operational studies to assess the service life of heavy-duty vehicle engines. The method of controlled modification of engine oil includes a system of five levels of information helping to assess the technical condition of engines of heavy-duty vehicles, including mining dump trucks. The first level of the methodology includes the use of subjective methods for determining the technical condition of engines by its external manifestations. The second level of the methodology includes the use of simple instrumental methods and means of obtaining diagnostic information about the technical condition of the engine and its subsystems. The third level of the technique involves the use of a drip test of engine oil. The fourth level of the methodology includes the chemical analysis of engine oil samples. The fifth level of the technique involves spectral analysis of engine oil to determine the presence of metals.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
