Startup merupakan hasil kreatifitas dari era digital yang berkembang dengan cepat sehingga terciptanya teknologi dan fasilitas yang memadai serta semakin memudahkan masyarakat melalui ide dan inovasi kreatif terbaru. Namun, startup memerlukan perlakuan perpajakan yang berbeda dari perusahaan badan konvensional karena startup belum tentu memiliki penghasilan bersih meskipun memiliki omzet yang besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menilai tingkat partisipasi pemerintah Indonesia mengenai pengenaan dan insentif pajak untuk mendukung kemajuan startup melalui kebijakan di bidang perpajakan mengingat Indonesia merupakan negara penghasil startup kelima terbesar di dunia. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dengan studi komparasi yang dilakukan dengan membandingkan kebijakan di bidang perpajakan antara Indonesia dengan India. Perbandingan tersebut dilakukan berdasarkan data bahwa kedua negara merupakan negara termasuk dalam lima besar penghasil startup terbanyak di dunia yang berada di kawasan Asia dan memiliki tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi yang hampir sama diukur berdasarkan Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) didalam kategori negara berkembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah Indonesia telah membuat beberapa kebijakan dengan menurunkan tarif Pajak Penghasilan atas Badan dan meniadakan pengenaan pajak dividen dalam negeri dengan tujuan menarik investor. Lebih lanjut, hasil studi komparasi menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah belum memberikan perhatian penuh untuk menerapan kebijakan atau perlakuan khusus untuk memajukan startup jika dibandingkan dengan negara India. Selain itu, terdapat beberapa kebijakan dan insentif yang diberikan pemerintah Indonesia dianggap kurang tepat sasaran.
Purpose: This research aimed to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of marketing strategies in increasing occupancy rate at the Jayakarta Lombok Beach Resort & Spa, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Research methods: The analysis techniques used were quantitative Descriptive Analysis, Qualitative Descriptive Analysis, Internal Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS) Matrix, External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS) Matrix, Internal - External (IE) Matrix, SWOT Analysis, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Analysis (QSPM) Matrix. Findings: Based on the results of IFAS matrix analysis, the main strength wasobtaining benefits from room usagein line with the reality from which room sales couldincrease hotel revenue. Based on the results of EFAS matrix analysis, the main opportunity was the government's policy related to the COVID19 pandemic with use the hotel as a place of isolation. Implication: The results of IE Matrix analysis put the company in the position of Growth Strategic (Cell II).
