Nutritional status changes, diet, and lifestyle are risk factors adolescent’s hypertension. This study isa cross sectional research to determine the most dominant factor of hypertension among adolescentsat SMA Sejahtera 1 Depok 2017. Collected data include blood pressure, nutritional status (BMI forage), intake nutrients (sodium, potassium, calcium, fat, fruits and vegetables consumption), lifestyle(sleep duration, stress, and physical activity), and adolescent characteristics (sex and family historyof hypertension). Blood pressure was measured using mercury sphygmomanometer, nutritional statuswith anthropometry, nutrient intake with Semi Quantitative FFQ, lifestyle and characteristics withquestionnaire. The study showed that 42.4% of adolescents had hypertension (≥95 percentile). Factorsassociated with hypertension were BMI for age and family history of hypertension. The most dominantfactor associated with hypertension was family history of hypertension. Education on genetic relatedrisk factors of hypertension such as genetic counseling through Health School Program was needed forprevent adolescent’s hypertension, so that students with a family history of hypertension may be moreconcerned about other risk factors such as nutritional status.Keywords : adolescent, family history of hypertension, hypertension AbstrakPerubahan status gizi, pola makan dan gaya hidup pada remaja merupakan faktor risiko hipertensi remaja.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross sectional untuk mengetahui faktor dominan hipertensi padaremaja di SMA Sejahtera 1 Depok tahun 2017. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 42,4% remaja SMA Sejahtera 1 Depok mengalami hipertensi(≥95 persentil). Terdapat hubungan IMT/U dan riwayat hipertensi keluarga pada hipertensi remajanya.Faktor dominan yang paling berhubungan dengan hipertensi pada remaja di SMA Sejahtera 1 Depoktahun 2017 adalah riwayat hipertensi keluarga. Diperlukan edukasi seperti kegiatan konseling genetikmelalui UKS (Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah) tentang faktor risiko riwayat hipertensi keluarga sebagaipencegahan hipertensi remaja, sehingga bagi siswa yang memiliki riwayat hipertensi keluarga dapat lebihmemperhatikan faktor risiko lainnya seperti status gizi.Kata kunci: hipertensi, remaja, riwayat hipertensi keluarga
Pola hidup dan asupan gizi merupakan faktor risiko status gizi mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan status gizi mahasiswa tingkat akhir S1 Fakultas Kesehatan Universitas MH. Thamrin. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data tingkat stres, emotional eating, kualitas tidur dan asupan gizi (energi, karbohidrat, protein, lemak). Data tingkat stres, emotional eating, kualitas tidur diukur menggunakan kuesioner, data asupan gizi dengan wawancara food recall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hampir sebagian mahasiswa tingkat akhir mengalami masalah gizi, yaitu gizi lebih (29,5%) dan gizi kurang (15,8%). Tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan pada tingkat stres, emotional eating, kualitas tidur dan asupan gizi dengan status gizi mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Mahasiswa disarankan untuk mengonsumsi makanan gizi seimbang dan tinggi serat, serta melakukan olahraga rutin agar tercapainya berat badan ideal dan status gizi normal.
Remaja merupakan kelompok usia yang mendapatkan perhatian dalam memperbaiki gizi selama periode 1000 HPK. Periode 1000 HPK akan menentukan kualitas hidup generasi selanjutnya sebab dimulai dari masa kehamilan. Defisiensi zat gizi mikro seperti anemia masih menjadi tantangan besar bagi Indonesia mengingat jumlahnya masalahnya meningkat selaama beberapa tahun terakhir. Remaja dengan masalah anemia akan berisiko menjadi ibu hamil yang anemia dan melahirkan bayi anemia, BBLR dan stunting, sehingga masalah anemia akan terus berlanjut ke generasi selanjutnya. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan remaja tentang cegah anemia dengan konsumsi makanan sumber zat besi dan makanan bergizi seimbang. Kegiatan edukasi diperlukan untuk menyampaikan informasi agar meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja mengenai anemia melalui kegiatan penyuluhan. Teknik permainan puzzle isi piring makanku dan media audio visual melalui video animasi dipilih agar pesan dapat tersampaikan dengan baik pada remaja, sehingga remaja dapat menerapkan prinsip gizi seimbang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat diterima baik oleh remaja dengan adaya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang anemia, antusias serta perhatian selama kegiatan berlangsung.
Nutritional status as an adult can be determined by eating patterns during adolescence. One of the factors that influence eating patterns is nutritional knowledge and snack habits, because at that age, teenagers spend a lot of time at school. Snacking habits in adolescents that are high in calories can lead to overweight and obesity. Health Education important to students for prevent disases case by poor nutrition/overweight. This study aims to determine the relationship between nutritional knowledge and eating habits in adolescents at Senior High School (SMA) Budhi Warman 1 in 2022. The design of the study used a cross-sectional study with 184 respondents aged 15-17 years. The data collection technique used was simple random sampling with instruments in the form of self-data questionnaires and snack habits. The data analysis used was univariate and bivariate with the chi-square test. There are 71.2% of female adolescents and 28.8% of male adolescents. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between the frequency of snacks (p value 0.003), the reason for the snacks (p value 0.002), the type of snack food (p value 0.002) and the drink of snacks (p value 0.011) with gender. Nutrition education, especially regarding choosing healthy snacks, must still be given to adolescents so that students can choose snacks that are good for nutrition and health.
Anemia termasuk ke dalam masalah kesehatan dunia terutama pada negara berkembang, yaitu Indonesia. Risiko anemia banyak dialami pada siklus kehidupan ibu hamil dan remaja. Prevalensi anemia di Indonesia pada perempuan naik dari tahun 2013 – 2018, termasuk pada usia produktif yaitu 15-49 tahun. Tujuan : untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian anemia pada santriwati di Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Fathul Baari Kota Bekasi. Bahan dan metode : desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling dengan jumlah 40 responden. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Tahfidz Fathul Baari Kota Bekasi. Hasil penelitian: tidak ada hubungan antara pendidikan ayah dan ibu, asupan protein, vitamin C, zat besi, konsumsi TTD, status gizi, pengetahuan anemia, dan lama menstruasi dengan kejadian anemia (p 0,05). Kesimpulan: secara statistik tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pendidikan ayah dan ibu, asupan protein, vitamin C, zat besi, konsumsi TTD, status gizi, pengetahuan anemia, dan lama menstruasi dengan kejadian anemia. Untuk santriwati diharapkan dapat memperdalam pengetahuan tentang anemia dan menambah variasi menu makanan terutama lauk hewani dan nabati, serta menambah jumlah porsi makan agar kecukupan protein dan zat besi terpenuhi agar terhindar dari risiko gejala anemia.
