Pembelajaran merupakan bantuan yang diberikan pendidik agar terjadi proses pemerolehan ilmu dan pengetahuan, penguasaan kemahiran dan tabiat, serta pembentukan sikap dan kepercayaan pada peserta didik. Dengan demikian, untuk membantu peserta didik dalam memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan tersebut maka diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum saat ini. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui strategi guru dalam pembelajaran aktif melalui pendekatan saintifik dalam mewujudkan pembelajaran abad 21. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomonologi dengan subjek penelitian guru kelas IV SD Negeri 111/I Muara Bulian pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran aktif melalui pendekatan saintifik dalam mewujudkan pembelajaran abad 21 yaitu dengan cara guru mengimplementasikan langkah pendekatan saintifik: Mengamati, Menanya, Mencoba/mengumpulkan informasi, menalar/mengolah informasi serta Mengkomunikasikan dan mengintegrasikannya dengan keterampilan abad 21: Kritis, Komunikatif, Kolaboratif dan Kreatif. telah dilaksanakan.
The purpose of this study was to study the application of working culture to the learning practice of machining in vocational high school (VHS) Muhammadiyah 1 Salam. The industrial working culture adds value to integrity, professional, productive, innovative, and competitive. This research is a quantitative and qualitative descriptive study. The subjects in this study were machining subject teachers of class XI and XI grade students in mechanical engineering majors at VHS Muhammadiyah 1 Salam. The obtained data were analyzed through descriptive analysis. The results show the value of integrity that has been implemented by 88% of students by behaving honestly and responsibly. Professional values have been applied to 54.8% of students with standardized procedures and applying K3 while working. Productive value has been applied 69% of students according to the time and quality determined. 27 % of students have applied innovative value. Innovative value is applied by finding new alternatives at work. Competitive value has been applied by 53% of students by looking for information related to the field of work and confidence in showing competence.
