Literasi matematika penting dan dibutuhkan dalam kehidupan siswa, akan tetapi hal tersebut belum sejalan dengan penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh PISA untuk mengetahui kemampuan literasi matematika siswa. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan literasi matematika ditinjau dari kecerdasan matematis-logis siswa tingkat tinggi dan rendah. Selanjutnya, untuk mengetahui literasi matematika ditinjau dari kecerdasan matematis-logis pada tingkat tinggi dan rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualititatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sekolah dasar dengan subjek sebanyak 26 siswa pada kelas V. Empat siswa diantaranya dipilih secara acak untuk mewakili siswa dengan kecerdasan matematis-logis tinggi dan rendah untuk diwawancarai. Data yang didapat, yaitu melalui angket, tes dan wawancara. Analisis hasil data yang didapat menggunakan uji t-test dan teknik analisis data model Miles dan Huberman. Analisis data dengan model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Reduksi data akan dianalisis menggunakan indikator literasi matematika yang diadopsi dari PISA 2012, yaitu merumuskan masalah, menerapkan konsep dan menafsirkan hasil penyelesaian. Hasil penelitian melalui uji t-test dibuktikan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, yaitu sig. (2-tailed) 0,002 < 0,05. Analisis melalui indikator literasi matematika siswa dengan kecerdasan matematis-logis tinggi dapat memenuhi 2 indikator literasi matematika. Siswa dengan kecerdasan matematis-logis rendah belum dapat memenuhi indikator literasi matematika. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini terdapat perbedaan secara yang signifikan dan kemampuan literasi matematika yang dimiliki oleh siswa dengan kecerdasan matematis-logis tinggi dapat memenuhi 2 indikator literasi matematika, sedangkan siswa dengan kecerdasan matematis-logis rendah belum mampu untuk memenuhi indikator literasi matematika.
