Abstrak Penuaan dini (PD) adalah proses degeneratif yang melibatkan kulit dan sistem penyokong kulit meliputi tulang, kartilago dan jaringan subkutaneus, berupa perubahan stuktural dan elastilitas kulit yang ditandai dengan wrinkles/kerutan kulit (fine wrinkles, coarse wrinkles), kulit yang kasar, kulit kering, teleangiaektasi, lesi kanker, serta perubahan pigmentasi. Wrinkles adalah permukaan kulit yang mengalami lekukan, dipengaruhi oleh faktor intrinsik dan ekstrinsik. Faktor ekstrinsik berasal dari lingkungan paparan sinar matahari, polusi udara, rokok, pergerakan otot yang berulang terkait ekspresi wajah, serta kebiasaan gaya hidup yang berhubungan dengan pola makan dan posisi tidur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah apakah merokok sebagai faktor ekstrinsik berefek pada kejadian penuaan dini berupa wrinkles di seputar wajah, yaitu sekitar mata, nasolabial fold, dan bibir pada sekuriti Universitas Islam Bandung (Unisba) usia 20-40 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik menggunakan metode potong lintang. Subjek penelitian adalah pegawai Unisba, yaitu sekuriti berusia 20-40 tahun yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dengan jumlah 68 orang selama periode Maret-Juni 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan formulir penelitian yang terdiri atas 16 pertanyaan. Uji analisis menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian berupa wrinkles di dahi (p=0,272), seputar mata (p=0,203), nasolabial fold (p=0,493), dan bibir (0,493) menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan merokok dengan penuaan dini berupa wrinkles di dahi, seputar mata, nasolabial fold, dan bibir (p>0,05). Simpulan, merokok tidak berefek pada penuaan dini berupa wrinkles di dahi, seputar mata, nasolabial fold, dan bibir pada sekuriti Unisba usia 20-40 tahun. Abstract Premature aging is a degenerative process that involves the skin and the skin support systems including the bone, cartilage, and subcutaneous compartments which is skin structural and elastic change characterized such as wrinkles (fine wrinkles, coarse wrinkles), rough skin, dry skin, teleangiaectasia, cancerous lesions, and changes in pigmentation. Wrinkles are curvature of skin surface. There are two factors influence, namely intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Extrinsic factors associated with exposure to sunlight, air pollution, smoking, repetitive muscle movements, diet and sleep position. The objective of the study was to determine the effects of smoking as external factor in the incidence of premature aging such as wrinkles based on area around the face as forehead, around eyes, nasolabial fold, and lips of 68 Universitas Islam Bandung (Unisba) security staff around 20-40 years old. This study was descriptive analytic using cross sectional method during period March to June 2015. This study used the form in the form consisted of 16 questions. The problem in this research arose from our discovery about Unisba student's behavior in excessive buying of cosmetic products. They buy these products without planning and consideration about the need of those cosmetic products. They did this behavior even after they have learnt Education of Islamic Religion course through 7 (seven) semesters. This course taught them about Islamic values, so they can accept whatever Allah SWT has granted them, so they can be more selective when it comes to buying cosmetic products, and buying them according to their need. The research methods used in this research is quantitative, the purposes of this research is to understand the effect of gratitude and self control to impulsive buying cosmetic products behavior. The samples of this research are Unisba students that like to buy cosmetic products. The results of this research are effect of gratitude to impulsive buying is 0,187 dan the effect of self control to impulsive buying is -0,267, from this results we can draw conclusion that every variable have little effects on impulsive buying. Gratitude and self control have little effects on impulsive buying in Unisba Students.
Abstract. Female lecturers have a dual role, namely as working mothers and as housewives and take care of children. During this COVID-19 pandemic, the search for roles in work and family is increasing. Organizational commitment is not only limited to the involvement of lecturers with the organization, but also maintains a presence in the organization and achieves organizational goals. There is a conflict that is felt by female lecturers who work at home, so they cannot balance roles in work and roles in the family, so women who work at home experience family conflicts. This study aims to determine the effect of work-family conflict on organizational commitment of female lecturers who work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research with causality method. This study uses a population study. The subjects of this study were 31 female lecturers who worked from home at the National Institute of Technology. The data analysis technique used multiple regression. Measurements were made using a work-family conflict scale from Carlosn & Kacmar adapted by Kuntari (2014) and a tool for measuring organizational commitment developed by Ingarianti (2015). The results showed that work family conflict had a significant effect on organizational commitment to female lecturers who worked at home by giving an R Square effect of 0.581 or with an influence of 58.1%. Abstrak. Dosen wanita mempunyai peran ganda yaitu sebagai ibu yang bekerja dan sebagai ibu rumah tangga dan mengurus anak. Pada masa pandemi COVID-19 ini, tuntutan peran di pekerjaan dan di keluarga semakin bertambah. Komitmen organisasi, tidak hanya sebatas dengan keterlibatan dosen wanita terhadap organisasi, tetapi mempertahankan keberadaannya di organisasi dan turut serta mencapai tujuan organisasi. Adanya konflik yang dirasakan oleh dosen wanita yang bekerja di rumah, terjadi karena tidak dapat menyeimbangkan tuntutan peran dalam pekerjaan dan tuntutan peran dalam keluarga, sehingga dosen wanita yang bekerja di rumah mengalami work family conflict. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work family conflict terhadap komitmen organisasi pada dosen wanita yang bekerja dari rumah di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif non-eksperimental dengan metode kausalitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi populasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 31 dosen wanita yang bekerja dari rumah di Institut Teknologi Nasional. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi berganda. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur work family conflict scale dari Carlosn & Kacmar yang diadaptasi oleh Kuntari (2014) dan alat ukur komitmen organisasi yang dikembangkan oleh Ingarianti (2015). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa work family conflict berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi pada dosen wanita yang bekerja di rumah dengan memberikan pengaruh R Square sebesar 0,581 atau dengan persentase pengaruh sebesar 58,1%.
Abstract. Telecommuting is a work arrangement that allows employees who are outside certain geographic boundaries to still be able to work towards common goals with the help of communication technology to stay connected with others outside and within the organization. During telecommuting, employees often feel isolated from their co-workers. Based on that will lead them to loneliness at work. Lack of emotional attachment to the organization as a result of loneliness in the workplace can weaken employees' organizational commitment. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of loneliness at work on the dimensions of organizational commitment to teleworkers. The research population was 44 employees of PT. X who carried out telecommuting. This study uses the Loneliness at Work Scale (LAWS) (2005) which has been adapted into Indonesian by Wahyuni and Muafi (2021) and Dimensions of Organizational Commitment (1991) which Sulistiawan, Diah sari, & Situmorang (2020). The results of this study show that simultaneously, loneliness at work has a significant effect on an affective commitment by 19.1% (sig, .013) and on normative commitment by 54.8% (sig, .000). This means that loneliness at work has a significant effect on affective commitment and normative commitment. Abstrak. Telecommuting merupakan pengaturan kerja yang memungkinkan karyawan yang berada di luar batas geografi tertentu untuk tetap bisa bekerja mencapai tujuan bersama dengan bantuan teknologi komunikasi agar tetap terhubung dengan orang lain diluar maupun didalam organisasi. Selama melakukan telecommuting seringkali karyawan merasakan terisolasi dari rekan kerja mereka. Berdasarkan tersebut akan mengarahkan mereka kepada loneliness at work. Kurangnya ikatan emosional dengan organisasi akibat dari loneliness at work dapat melemahkan komitmen organisasi karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh antara loneliness at work terhadap dimensi komitmen organisasi pada teleworker. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 44 orang karyawan PT. X yang melaksanakan telecommuting. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur Loneliness at Work Scale (LAWS) (2005) yang telah diadaptasi ke Bahasa Indonesia oleh Wahyuni dan Muafi (2021) dan Dimensi Komitmen Organisasi (1991) yang Sulistiawan, Diah sari, & Situmorang (2020). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan secara simultan, loneliness at work berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen affective sebesar 19.1% (sig, .013) dan terhadap komitmen normative sebesar 54.8 % (sig, .000). Artinya loneliness at work berpengaruh secara signifikan dengan komitmen affective dan komitmen normative.
Abstract. The conflict that is felt by single parents occurs because they are responsible for themselves to fulfill the demands of roles in work and family simultaneously, which are usually carried out by husband and wife so that single parents who work are vulnerable to experience work-family conflict and will have an impact on subjective his well-being. This study aims to determine the effect of work-family conflict on subjective well-being in single parents in the city of Bandung. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research. The subjects in this study were 100 single parents who worked in the city of Bandung. Data analysis used Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM). The measuring instrument used for work-family conflict is the work-family conflict scale from Carlson, Kacmar, & William (2000) which has been adapted and translated by Indah Soca Kuntari, M.Psi, Psychologist (2015). The measuring instrument used for subjective well-being consists of two measuring instruments, namely, SWLS compiled by Diener, Emmons, Larsen & Griffin (1985) and SPANE compiled by Ed Diener (2009), both of which have been adapted and translated by Ratri (2019). The results showed that there was a negative effect of work-family conflict on cognitive aspects of subjective well-being in single parents by 22.6% (R=.266. R2=.218), negative effect of work-family conflict on positive affect of subjective well. -being in single parent is 18.1% (R=.181. R2=.173) and there is a positive effect of work-family conflict on negative affect in single parent by 21.8% (R=.218. R2=.210 ). Abstrak. Adanya konflik yang dirasakan oleh single parent terjadi karena mereka bertanggung jawab sendiri untuk memenuhi tuntutan peran di dalam pekerjaan dan keluarga secara sekaligus, yang biasanya dijalankan berdua oleh suami dan istri sehingga single parent yang bekerja rentan untuk mengalami work-family conflict dan akan berdampak pada subjective well-being nya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work-family conflict terhadap subjective well-being pada single parent di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif non-eksperimental. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 orang single parent yang bekerja di Kota Bandung. Analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modelling (PLS SEM). Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk work-family conflict adalah work-family conflict scale dari Carlson, Kacmar, & William (2000) yang telah diadaptasi dan diterjemahkan oleh Indah Soca Kuntari, M.Psi, Psikolog (2015). Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk subjective well-being terdiri dari dua alat ukur yaitu, SWLS yang disusun oleh Diener, Emmons, Larsen & Griffin (1985) dan SPANE yang disusun oleh Ed Diener (2009), kedua alat ukur tersebut telah diadaptasi dan diterjemahkan oleh Ratri (2019). R2=.218), pengaruh negatif work-family conflict terhadap afek positif subjective well-being pada single parent sebesar 18,1% (R=.181. R2=.173) dan ada pengaruh positif work-family conflict terhadap afek negatif pada single parent sebesar 21,8% (R=.218. R2=.210).
Abstract. Lecturers who are married perform a dual responsibility, that of parents who are responsible for raising their children., then as a lecturer who is obligated to abide with the agency's standards. Organizational commitment goes beyond just lecturers' participation in the organization; it also involves maintaining one's presence within the organization and taking part in the pursuit of its objectives. There is a conflict between the demands of the lecturer's job and the expectations of the lecturer's role in the family, resulting in Work Family Conflict. The purpose of this research is to ascertain the impact of Work Family Conflict on organizational commitment to lecturers, both male and female. This research uses the causality method and is quantitative in nature. The 265 academics who made up the population in this study were all lecturers. The 159 lecturers that were included in the research sample were chosen using Convenience Sampling, a Non Probability Sampling technique. Simple regression is a data analysis approach. The Work Family Conflict Scale, established by Carlson and Kacmar and translated and adapted by Indah Kuntari, is the measurement device used in the Variable Work Family Conflict (2014). The organizational commitment measuring tool makes use of an organizational commitment scale created by Ingarianti that is based on the idea of Mowday, Steers, & Porter (2015). The result of the research is that the lecturers' Work Family Conflict belongs to the high category. The highest dimension is Strain-Based Conflict Family Interference With Work. The level of organizational support for lecturers comes within the low category. Identification is the lowest dimension. The beta value is -0.229, and the significance value is 0.004 < 0.05, implying that the Work Family Conflict data has a negative and substantial impact on organizational commitment to lecturers. Dosen yang sudah berkeluarga mempunyai peran ganda yaitu sebagai orang tua yang memiliki tugas dan tanggung jawab mengurus anak, lalu sebagai dosen yang harus mengikuti aturan intansi. Komitmen organisasi, tidak hanya sebatas dengan keterlibatan dosen terhadap organisasi, tetapi mempertahankan keberadaannya di dalam organisasi dan turut serta mencapai tujuan organisasi. Adanya konflik yang dirasakan oleh dosen dalam pekerjaan dan tuntutan peran dalam kelurga sehingga dosen mengalami work family conflict. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh work family conflict terhadap komitmen organisasi pada dosen baik perempuan maupun laki-laki. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode kausalitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh dosen yang berjumlah 265 dosen. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 159 dosen yang diambil dengan menggunakan non probabilitas sampling, yaitu convenience sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada variable work family conflict yaitu menggunakan work family conflict scale yang dikembangkan oleh Carlson, Kacmar yang di adaptasi dan diterjemahkan oleh Indah Kuntari (2014). Alat ukur komitmen organisasi menggunakan skala komitmen organisasi berdasarkan teori Mowday, Steers, & Porter yang dikembangkan oleh Ingarianti (2015). Hasil penelitian adalah Work Family Conflict pada dosen tergolong pada kategori tinggi. Dimensi tertinggi yaitu Strain-based conflcit family interference with work. Komitmen organisasi pada dosen tergolong pada kategori rendah. Dimensi terendah yaitu Identifikasi. Nilai beta sebesar -0,229 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,004 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulan bahwa data work family conflict berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi pada dosen. One of the important skills that students must be able to face academic challenges with adaptation is self-control skills. In one elementary school in Bandung, there is a problem where some students have low self-control skills. This can be seen from the low ability of students to be able to choose activities related to the academic field, such as studying, doing assignments. These students tend to choose activities outside more often of their responsibilities in the academic field, so that it has an impact on low learning awareness, low willingness to do assignments and activities related to academics. So, the purpose of this service activity is to provide metacognition and prospection-based training to help develop self-control skills in 6th grade elementary school students. This activity is carried out in the form of providing material, and opportunities to practice in situations related to metacognition, prospecting, and self-control in elementary school students. Based on the evaluation of the training activities, there was an increase in participants' understanding and skills in prospecting, metacognition, and self-control. It is hoped that this increase can help students to be more self-controlled in facing and solving academic challenges at school.Salah satu keterampilan yang penting dimiliki siswa agar dapat menghadapi tuntutan akademik dengan adaptif adalah keterampilan pengendalian diri. Di salah satu SD di kota Bandung terdapat permasalahan dimana beberapa siswanya memiliki keterampilan pengendalian diri yang rendah. Hal ini terlihat dari rendahnya kemampuan siswa untuk bisa memilih kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan bidang akademik, seperti belajar, mengerjakan tugas. Siswa-siswa ini cenderung lebih sering memilih kegiatan di luar tanggung jawabnya di bidang akademik, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya kesadaran belajar, rendahnya kemauan untuk mengerjakan tugas dan kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan akdemik. Sehingga tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan berbasis metakognisi untuk membantu mengembangkan keterampilan pengendalian diri pada siswa kelas 6 SD. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pemberian materi, dan kesempatan berlatih dalam situasi simulasi berkaitan dengan metakognisi, prospeksi, dan pengendalian diri pada siswa SD. Berdasarkan pengukuran evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan, terdapat peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan di area prospeksi, metakognisi, dan pengendalian diri pada peserta. Diharapkan peningkatan tersebut dapat membantu siswa agar lebih bisa mengendalikan diri dalam menghadapi dan menyelesaikan tuntutan akademik di sekolah.
Career decision-making is one of the developmental tasks of adolescents. However, the results of the needs analysis show that most of the 12th grade vocational high school students still do not know what to do about their future. Students still don't feel the need to make a career choice and don't feel the need to rush in planning for the future. This shows that students have not aware the importance of choosing a career so that their future can be successful. This community service activity is in the form of training that aims to foster self-awareness so that they are able to recognize themselves, starting from their emotions and feelings, as well as their abilities, strengths and weaknesses so that they are able to make decisions regarding their future. This community service activity was carried out to 12 12th grade vocational high school students at SMKN 1 Cihampelas. The training methods used are material delivery, video views, case studies, assignment sheets and small group discussions. The results of the service show that there are changes related to students' self-identity so that they can identify themselves accurately and have permanent decisions regarding their future careers and believe that their choices are in accordance with their abilities. Pengambilan keputusan terkait karir merupakan salah satu tugas perkembangan remaja. Namun, hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa SMK kelas 12 masih belum memiliki gambaran mengenai masa depannya. Siswa masih merasa belum perlu untuk menentukan pilihan karirnya dan merasa tidak perlu terburu-buru dalam merencakan masa depan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa belum menyadari pentingnya memilih karir agar masa depannya bisa sukses. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran dalam diri sehingga mereka mampu mengenali dirinya, mulai dari emosi dan perasaannya, juga kemampuan, kelebihan dan kekurangan dari diri mereka sehingga mereka mampu untuk mengambil keputusan terkait masa depannya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan kepada 12 siswa SMK kelas 12 di SMKN 1 Cihampelas. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan yaitu penyampaian materi, penayangan video, studi kasus, pengerjaan lembar tugas dan diskusi kelompok kecil. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan terdapat perubahan terkait pemahaman diri siswa sehingga ia mampu mengenali diri secara akurat dan memiliki keputusan yang tetap terkait karir masa depannya dan meyakini pilihannya tersebut sudah sesuai dengan kemampuan diri.
