AThis study applied associative quantitative approach and correlational study on parents guidance as the free variable and students discipline as the bound variable. The main objective of this study is to investigate the strengths or weaknesses of the correlation between parents guidance and students discipline. The subject of this study was students of VB and VC classes from Ciampea 01 State Elementary School Bogor Regency, Even Semester, 2016/2017 Study Year, which were 90 students in total and 47 respondents were taken as samples. The validation of parents guidance and students discipline instruments was done through Microsoft Excel program with Pearson Product Moment formula. Meanwhile, instruments reliability was counted through Alpha Cronbach formula. The studys hypothesis instrument validation was done through a simple regression analysis with ? = -25,02 + 1,35X which means that the functional correlation is significant. In this study, each ascension of parents guidance unit will increase 1,35 unit of students discipline. The simple correlation trial states that (rxy) is 0,97 which means that the correlation between two variables is very strong, while the coefficient of determaination (r2) is 0,95 which means that parents guidance gives 95% contribution to students discipline. The rest 5% is determined by other factors. Based on the results of study above, it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between parents guidance and students discipline. Keywords : Parents Guidance and Students Discipline
Delinquency or delinquency from groups of children and adolescents is increasingly widespread and developing, with various types of deviant behavior being carried out. Children in conflict with the law (Juvenile Delinquency) are usually still in school or have started looking for work. Meanwhile, schools or educational institutions are the spearhead of resolving child conflicts without violence, or the environment that forms culture and morality. On the other hand, unemployment and the imbalance between work and skills are another problem for youth groups and young adults. Deviant behavior (violation of the rules of criminal law) is partly due to the nonfulfillment of their "rising expectations" arising from increased economic development. The application of criminal laws in the Juvenile Criminal Justice System (SPPA) is known as the concept of Diversion. Diversion is the transfer of the settlement of children's cases from the criminal justice process to processes outside of criminal justice. Meanwhile, the purpose of Diversion is to achieve peace between victims and children, resolve child cases outside the judicial process, prevent children from deprivation of liberty, encourage the community to participate, instill a sense of responsibility in children. All of these diversion processes are carried out using a Restorative Justice approach. However, the success and failure of the diversion process can be seen from the process and results of the deliberation carried out, as well as the obstacles that arise in the implementation of diversion for children who are in conflict with the law (criminal). The purpose of this study was to analyze and find out how the process of implementing diversion in the jurisdiction of the Pontianak District Court, accompanied by obstacles or obstacles faced in implementing diversion and restorative justice. Therefore, the urgency of this research, it is important to know "Effectiveness of the Implementation of the Concept of Diversion and Restorative Justice in the Juvenile Criminal Justice System (Empirical Juridical Study of Child Delinquency Cases at the Pontianak District Court)".
