The important decision faced by financial management which relates to the continuity of company operations is funding decision which is capital structure. Capital structure achieves optimal value if the composition of debt and capital are able to increase company value. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of ownership structure, profitability, firm size, and tangibility against capital structure (research on manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2016). The population in this research were all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2016. This research used purposive sampling method with certain criteria to determine the sample. The sample used was 38 companies with the research period 2012-2016 at manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Multiple regression analysis using Eviews 8 was used to analyze the data. The result of multiple linear regression test showed that there were three independent variables that affect capital structure they were managerial ownership, firm size and tangibility. Whereas institutional ownership and profitability did not affect the capital structure of manufacturing companies in 2012-2016. The conclusion of this research is managerial ownership, firm size and tangibility have positive and significant effect on capital structure, while institutional ownership and profitability have negative and insignificant effect on capital structure.
The purpose of this study is to examine the market reaction regarding the announcement of working cabinet following the election of Jokowi as the President of Indonesia. Political events such as presidential election, government change, cabinet announcement, and other events are very influential towards price and trade volume at the stock exchange since the political events are closely related to the state economy stability. The Sample in this study is stock which was listed as issuers in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) which included in LQ45 company group during this research period from 20 October-3 November 2014. The result shows that there was significant effect towards abnormal return difference before and after the cabinet announcement on the companies listed in LQ 45. The existence of this significant difference means that market reacted with the cabinet announcement event. Keberadaan abnormal return menunjukkan bahwa investor terpengaruh oleh situasi politik.
The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of intellectual capital (human capital, structural capital, capital employed) on financial performance and corporate value. The population in this study is a banking company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2011-2015. The sample is taken by purposive sampling technique that is based on certain criteria. Data analysis in this research use multiple linear regression analysis. The result of hypothesis test shows that human capital and capital employed have positive effect to financial performance, while structural capital does not have positive influence to financial performance. Human capital and capital employed also positively affect the value of the company, while structural capital does not have a positive influence on the value of the company. Thus, companiesshould pay more attention to the existence of intangible assets that have the potential to improve the financial performance and value of the company. Companies must improve human capital by engaging in budgeting for trainings to improving and developing the employee knowledge. The company must also utilize all its assets so as to maximize the company's financial performance and value.
Banking is a financial institution that has a role in the financial system in Indonesia. The existence of the banking sector becomes important because in carrying out life in the community involves services from the banking sector. Banking is an institution that has a strategic role as a financial intermediary (financial intermediary) between parties who have funds (surplus funds) with parties who need funds (deficit funds), as well as institutions that function to facilitate payment-traffic. The Islamic banking sector has not escaped in the role and dynamics of banking in Indonesia. However, its existence still needs to be questioned. One of the bank's health assessment efforts can be done through financial performance assessment. The financial performance of the bank can be seen from the profitability of the bank. This research aims to find out the health of Islamic banks in Indonesia using financial ratios. This study used data from 2010-2019 with 9 Islamic Banks sampled. Testing uses description analysis and regression. The results showed that NOM and BOPO had a significant influence on ROA in the Islamic banking sector in Indonesia.
Empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), requires model empowerment, which includes increasing existing MSME to be more advanced in order to be able to compete tightly in free market competition. Since ancient times, empon empon has been proven to have medicinal properties as herbal medicine, which is not only used as a medicine but also as a beauty treatment. One of the MSME that processes empon-empon into instant herbal medicine is Tiga Dara MSME which is located at Jalan Urip Sumoharjo No. 45 East Ungaran Subdistrict, Semarang Regency. Instant herbal powders produced by UD Tiga Dara include instant powders of Ginger, Turmeric, Temulawak, Mahkota Dewa, Kencur etc. The importance of maintaining body immunity during the COVID-19 pandemic is closely related to the availability of instant herbal powder products with empon-empon raw materials, especially ginger. During this pandemic, the demand for instant herbal medicine powder has increased, but Tiga Dara MSME still have limitations in the sales system. The method used in this community service is in the form of training and mentoring MSME in making web and social media as a means of marketing instant herbal powder products. This service aims to assist MSME in marketing their products in order to improve the economy of Tiga Dara MSME. With the existence of the Web and social media as one of the media for product marketing, it is hoped that it can increase sales from MSME and can improve the community's economy so that it can achieve community welfare.
