El trabajo tuvo como objetivo analizar las principales características bibliográficas de la producción científica mundial relacionada con ética y sostenibilidad en la gestión contable, a partir de un análisis descriptivo de la evolución cuantitativa de las publicaciones, citaciones, redes de colaboración internacional, productividad de los principales autores y términos frecuentes en las publicaciones científicas. Se realizó un análisis documental sustentado en el uso de herramientas de análisis bibliométricas, con base en información de publicaciones de revistas científicas indexadas en Web Of Science (WOS) y la utilización del software conocido como VOSviewer que facilita la visualización de mapas bibliométricos. Esta metodología de investigación, incluida en el campo de meta-estudios reflexivos de literatura, permitiendo obtener una visión general de las tendencias de las investigaciones científicas relacionadas con ética y sostenibilidad. En efecto, el estudio informa sobre las principales redes de colaboración y los clústeres temáticos de la producción científica a partir de la exploración de literatura académica disponible en WOS. Los resultados identifican 98 documentos científicos entre los periodos 2009-2018 que acumulan un total de 3.020 citaciones, entre los que se destacan dos publicaciones que registran la mayor visibilidad por el número de citaciones: 1) Stakeholder Theory: The State of the Art (Parmar et al., 2010) y 2) Sustainability in mining, minerals and energy: new processes, pathways and human interactions for a cautiously optimistic future (Moran, CJ; Lodhia, S; Kunz, NC; Huisingh, D, 2014). Asimismo, se estableció que la revista con mayor visibilidad es Academy of Management Annals, de Estados Unidos, en la cual se abordan temas de administración y economía. En relación con las futuras líneas de estudios se tienen: Sostenibilidad empresarial, Ética y trasformación organizacional y visión social ética. Las limitaciones del estudio se centran en la estrategia metodológica propuesta por los autores, al restringir la búsqueda y selección de publicaciones relacionadas a una sola base de datos WOS, dada la posibilidad de que existan ciertos estudios con valiosos aportes sin estar indexadas en esta base de datos.
El objetivo de este artículo es caracterizar la producción científica mundial relacionada a la sostenibilidad y educación ambiental en la universidad. La metodología aplicada se sustenta en la identificación y análisis de publicaciones de revistas científicas indexadas en la base de datos Scopus, junto con la utilización del software conocido como VOSviewer que facilita la visualización de mapas de red basados en datos bibliográficos, lo cual resulta en un aporte significativo y novedoso en este campo de estudio. En efecto, los resultados reflejan un importante incremento registrado en el número anual de publicaciones, al registrar unincremento del 1400% de publicaciones entre 1984 y 2017. En lo referente a la dispersión en el campo de estudio existe en la producción científica revistas de impacto mundial, las principales 14 revistas concentran el 44,6% de las publicaciones y acumulan el 51,1% de las citaciones. En conclusión, los hallazgos permiten visualizar las características generales, redes de colaboración, visibilidad e influencia, y las principales tendencias temáticas de la producción científica relacionada con la sostenibilidad y la educación ambiental en la universidad.
El trabajo tiene como objetivo describir las principales características bibliográficas de la producción científica mundial relacionada con la sostenibilidad y contabilidad ambiental (en adelante CA) en los campos de administración, negocios y contabilidad, a partir de un análisis descriptivo de la evolución cuantitativa de las publicaciones, enfoques metodológicos, unidades de estudios, clústeres temáticos, países, principales autores y revistas científicas con publicaciones relacionadas. La metodología corresponde a un estudio documental descriptivo, reflexivo de literatura, sustentado en las publicaciones de documentos científicos indexados Scopus de Elsevier y la utilización del software VOSviewer. Los textos fueron seleccionados a partir de diversos criterios incluyendo como palabras claves "sustainability" y "environment accounting", limitados en el campo de “Negocios, Gestión y Contabilidad”, durante el periodo comprendido entre los años 2013 y 2017. Los resultados identificaron 66 textos, identificando como los años con mayor número de publicaciones corresponden a 2013 con el 25.8% y 2017 con el 19.7% del total de documentos. Asimismo, los enfoques investigativos aplicados en el campo de sostenibilidad y CA están orientados desde el paradigma cualitativos con un 64%, y cuantitativo 33%. Los tipos de estudios, con mayor aplicación se encuentran las investigaciones exploratorias con 70%, descriptivos 20% y correlacionales con el 8%. Respecto a las unidades estudiadas, los documentos están enfocados desde investigaciones en las empresas, con un 68%, distribuidas en 77% grandes empresas y 33% pequeñas y medianas. Los sectores con mayor relevancia se centran en el sector terciario con un 44%, secundario 33% y primario 3%; Los países con mayor número de estudios se destacan Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, Australia e Italia. Finalmente, las limitaciones del estudio se centran en la estrategia metodológica propuesta por el autor, al tener en cuenta una sola base de datos Scopus. existiendo algunos estudios que genera aportes sin estar indexada en la base de dato.
El estudio se centra en analizar las sanciones interpuestas por los órganos de control debido a violaciones al código de ética de los contadores en Colombia, con algunos análisis comparativos internacionales de Francia y la ciudad de New York. La metodología se basa en una revisión de los informes de sanciones disciplinarias publicados por los órganos de control en Colombia, Junta Central de Contadores. Los resultados muestran que las sanciones más interpuestas son las amonestaciones que como causal de incumplimiento de las normas técnica. De esta manera, el estudio permite crear una visión de la importancia de las prácticas contables en los entornos comerciales, detallando el deber que tiene el contador en el actuar de manera ética para evitar sanciones que perjudique su accionar profesional.
