O plasma autólogo começou a ser estudado na década de 90, principalmente por suas propriedades adesivas, de angiogênese e pela presença de fatores de crescimento de origem plaquetária. Na verdade, o plasma pode ser isolado de modo autólogo, a partir do sangue do próprio paciente e obtido nas suas duas porções: uma com alta concentração de plaquetas (plasma rico em plaquetas- PRP) e outra com concentração baixa de plaquetas (plasma pobre em plaquetas- PPP). O presente estudo está em desenvolvimento no Hospital Universitário Clementino Fraga Filho, da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (HUCFF-UFRJ) e no Hospital Naval Marcílio Dias (HNMD), ambos no Rio de Janeiro. O objetivo é avaliar as propriedades do plasma pobre em plaquetas, principalmente a sua ação adesiva, em pacientes com indicação de dermolipectomia abdominal reparadora, de modo a reduzir as coleções no pós operatório, como hematoma e seroma, duas das principais complicações nesse tipo de cirurgia.
O Carcinoma sebáceo é um tumor maligno, agressivo e raro, proveniente do epitélio de glândulas sebáceas, mais comumente localizado na cabeça e pescoço. É mais comum no sexo feminino, em paciente idosas, podendo simular patologias oftalmológicas. Sua etiologia não é bem definida, apresentando-se de forma isolada ou associada a Síndrome de Muir-Torre, doença autossômica dominante, em que o carcinoma sebáceo está associado a neoplasias viscerais, mais frequentemente tumores gastrointestinais. O objetivo desse trabalho é relatar o caso de uma paciente com lesão vegetante em pálpebra inferior esquerda, cujo diagnóstico foi conclusivo para carcinoma sebáceo. Diante disso, foi realizada a busca ativa por neoplasias viscerais, estabelecendo-se o diagnóstico de tumor de sigmoide.
