Education for death is an emerging field of study in which health education research and proposals are increasingly being made with the aim of acquiring knowledge and skills to promote positive attitudes towards health and preparation for the end of life. The aim of this study is to find out what experience older people have had with death education and the importance they give to health education. A qualitative methodological design was selected using a semi-structured interview. The survey consisted of interviews with 28 participants from the city of Granada (Spain) aged 61 to 78. This qualitative-descriptive study is based on an analysis of older people’s experience of education and preparation for death throughout their lives. The results show that, in most cases, the only information received was in childhood and always from a religious perspective. Death and health are closely related, so working on death education helps to improve the quality of life of elderly people. Health education offers ways of coping with the end of life through the transmission of values and practices that make it possible to anticipate and resolve situations of instability or anxiety. Facing death naturally and as just another part of life will help to make healthy ageing possible, through educational proposals related to the integral health of elderly people.
El propósito de esta investigación es adaptar y validar un instrumento que permite analizar la tipología y la incidencia de la violencia en las relaciones de pareja en jóvenes. El estudio se realizó utilizando el análisis factorial exploratorio (AFE) y el análisis factorial confirmatorio (AFC). La muestra seleccionada estuvo compuesta por dos grupos de jóvenes (n= 253 y n= 323) estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de Granada (España). Después de la validación realizada con el AFE, obtuvimos una estructura que, más tarde, fue corroborada con el AFC a través de ecuaciones estructurales (RMSEA = .062, CFI = .935, TLI = .916). La fiabilidad y la consistencia interna del instrumento también se probaron con valores para todas las dimensiones superiores a .700. También se llevó a cabo un análisis descriptivo y correlacional. Se concluye que esta nueva versión compuesta por 20 ítems y cinco dimensiones presenta una validez y fiabilidad aceptables que demuestran que el modelo es consistente y coherente con los supuestos teóricos de partida
El objetivo del presente artículo es revisar y adaptar un instrumento creado para conocer la jerarquía de valores en los jóvenes a partir de 11 categorías que recogen la integridad de las dimensiones de la persona. El proceso ha consistido en la validación de contenido a través de un juicio de expertos con el análisis crítico de cada ítem y el grado de acuerdo entre jueces mediante el Coeficiente de Concordancia W de Kendall y la validación de constructo por medio del análisis factorial. Por último, se midió la consistencia interna de los ítems mediante el coeficiente alfa de Cronbach. La muestra utilizada es de 651 jóvenes seleccionada a través de un muestreo aleatorio por conglomerados. Los resultados muestran valores indicativos de concordancia entre los jueces expertos, la diferenciación de los 11 dimensiones que coinciden con las propuestas en el constructo teórico y altos niveles de fiabilidad en cada una de las dimensiones. El estudio psicométrico ha dado como resultado la versión definitiva del instrumento.
Definir o âmbito da Pedagogia Social não é uma tarefa fácil, assim como não é uma tarefa fácil dar uma resposta única e imediata à pergunta: “o que é a Pedagogia Social?”. Neste artigo centramo-nos no processo de construção da Pedagogia Social para compreendermos a situação actual em que se encontra. Com esse objectivo elaboramos uma reflexão sobre a concepção de Pedagogia Social recorrendo a três vias: a histórica, a empírica e a analítica.
