El presente estudio aborda las tensiones curriculares y didácticas para la integración y el desarrollo de la argumentación en la Educación terciaria. La investigación realizada en una universidad chilena tuvo como objetivo identificar las tensiones didácticas, pedagógicas y curriculares para el desarrollo de habilidades argumentativas en la formación docente. Metodológicamente, el estudio de enfoque cualitativo, diseño exploratorio y estudio de caso fue realizado a través de focus groups a directivos y académicos de una carrera de Educación infantil. El método de análisis utilizado en la investigación es de contenido operacionalizado a través de una codificación temática instrumentalizada por medio del Software Atlas Ti. Los principales resultados de la investigación evidencian tensiones en el estudiantado referidas a habilidades de ingreso a la educación superior, las estructuras argumentativas formuladas, el uso de evidencias y vocabulario en la argumentación oral y escrita. Así, las principales tensiones didácticas y curriculares se concentran en el tratamiento de contenido de la argumentación, las metodologías de enseñanza-aprendizaje, el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas a través de la argumentación, el currículo y las experiencias evaluativas, distinguidas como instancias particulares y focalizadas en la formación docente.
El objetivo de este estudio es proponer modelos de aprendizaje de máquina supervisada para predecir la capacidad de abstracción en los estudiantes, como mecanismo de alerta temprana, a través de la utilización de la tecnología y el uso del video juego. La metodología utilizada es mixta, con un diseño descriptivo y predictivo, se analizaron 118 tests aplicados a estudiantes chilenos de formación docente. Para ello, se correlacionaron las variables: edad, modalidad y semestre académico y se examinaron seis modelos predictivos. Los resultados evidencian tres hallazgos relevantes. En primer lugar, en la relación abstracción/edad, en las categorías Satisfactoria y No Abstracción, la distribución es homogénea en todas las edades. En segundo lugar, la relación abstracción/modalidad se evidencia que sigue un patrón del 50% para todas las categorías de abstracción. En tercer lugar, la relación abstracción/semestre académico, se observa que en el séptimo semestre se concentra la mayor cantidad de estudiantes sin capacidad de abstracción. Se concluye que el nivel de abstracción es bajo, evidenciándose que el 61,1% de los estudiantes no tiene un nivel cognitivo superior. De los 6 modelos de aprendizaje de máquina supervisada, dos se sugieren para predecir una alerta temprana, árbol de decisión y bosque aleatorio que tienen una exactitud (Accuracy) del 100%. Por lo tanto, mediante el uso de la tecnología y el video juego es posible afianzar el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas superiores, por medio de una serie de estrategias planificadas en tiempos de covid-19, concentradas en el primer y segundo semestre de formación.
El enfoque de género se considera como un elemento estructural y vital para comprender las construcciones y categorías sociales propias de hombres y mujeres como marco para avanzar en sociedades con mayor igualdad e inclusión. El estudio realizado en cuatro centros educativos de segundo tramo de Educación Parvularia (3-4 años) con educadores en ejercicio, tiene como objetivo analizar las prácticas pedagógicas y discursivas presentes en las aulas infantiles, desde una perspectiva de género en Chile. Metodológicamente, el estudio de corte cualitativo y diseño exploratorio fue realizado a través de observaciones no participantes y entrevistas en profundidad; se estableció como método al análisis de contenido y una codificación temática, para lo cual fue utilizado en una primera fase el Software Nvivo 12 y posteriormente, una triangulación de métodos. Los resultados del estudio revelan que existen dispositivos de género sobre la imaginería, las reglas de interacción, la distinción y las formas de jerarquización de género al interior del aula infantil; influencias en los niños que los educadores desconocen en los espacios de socialización secundaria en los que interactúan con las infancias; configurando identidades y órdenes sociales al interior del aula.
