A energia solar fotovoltaica é uma das soluções viáveis e competitivas para inserção de energias renováveis. A geração distribuída com sistemas fotovoltaicos possui características peculiares que permitem uma integração harmoniosa às edificações. Atualmente, existem normativas e incentivos para esta aplicação, tornando o setor atraente para os investimentos. Em um sistema fotovoltaico, o módulo é um dos principais equipamentos, e tem a responsabilidade de converter energia solar em energia elétrica. Muitos edifícios têm fachadas ventiladas como um elemento de conforto térmico e arquitetônico, mas que também podem ser utilizadas para a instalação de módulos fotovoltaicos. As fachadas ventiladas são constituidas de revestimento cerâmico ou vidro. Este artigo apresenta ferramentas para a construção de protótipos de módulos fotovoltaicos, integrados em revestimento cerâmico, aplicados em fachada ventilada. Este componente é instalado em uma planta piloto bioclimática na cidade de Araranguá - SC na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Após o desenvolvimento dos protótipos e sua instalação na fachada ventilada da planta piloto bioclimática, foram realizados testes de exposição à radiação solar e medidas para o levantamento da curva I-V.
Em um cenário de aumento do uso da energia solar fotovoltaica para a geração de eletricidade, tem-se a importância de realizar estudos da previsão precisa da radiação solar no local onde os sistemas fotovoltaicos serão instalados. As previsões precisas da radiação solar fornecem informações relacionada as incertezas na geração de eletricidade de uma usina solar fotovoltaica. As células de referência são instrumentos que podem ser usados para medição da radiação solar global. As células de referência foram desenvolvidas no Laboratório de Pesquisa Aplicada (LPA) da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Os procedimentos e métodos de calibração podem ser realizados mediante medições em simulador solar (indoor) ou sob iluminação natural (outdoor). Este artigo apresenta as constantes de calibração das células de referências através de três métodos distintos e as etapas de medição da irradiância solar. As medições são validadas a partir de um piranômetro fotovoltaico de uma estação meteorológica, localizada na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, UFSC, Campus Araranguá. As irradiâncias foram medidas em todas as estações do ano e em dias totalmente ensolarados (sem nuvens). As irradiâncias foram medidas utilizando os três métodos de calibração das células de referência e tiveram uma forte correlação com a irradiância do piranômetro fotovoltaico da estação meteorológica.
