Resumo: O trabalho ocupa um grande espaço na vida do homem e caracteriza-se como um importante meio de construção da identidade humana. Entretanto, o trabalho apresenta relação com o processo de saúde e doença, o que implica em distintas consequências na vida do trabalhador. Esta pesquisa apresenta, como objetivo geral, apontar a importância das atividades grupais na saúde do trabalhador como abordagem de intervenção terapêutica ocupacional. O estudo consiste em um relato de experiência, com abordagem qualitativa, desenvolvido a partir do estágio profissionalizante supervisionado junto aos colaboradores da Fábrica Esperança, por acadêmicos do 4.º ano de graduação do Curso de Terapia Ocupacional da Universidade do Estado do Pará. Foram desenvolvidas atividades grupais com abordagens reflexivas, lúdicas e recreativas nos setores de Núcleo de Reinserção Social, Diretoria Comercial e Restaurante, de modo a promover o fortalecimento do vínculo e a integração entre os trabalhadores, e sensibilizá-los acerca da importância de mudanças em suas relações com o trabalho. Observou-se que as atividades terapêuticas ocupacionais contribuíram para a melhoria do empenho individual e para o desenvolvimento do trabalho em equipe, bem como a importância das relações interpessoais no ambiente laboral, evidenciando a importância das ações terapêuticas ocupacionais no contexto da saúde do trabalhador.
