Music genre classification is an important multimedia research domain, including aspects of music piece representation, distances between genres, and categorization of music databases. The objective of this study was to develop a model for automatic classification of musical genres from audio data by using features from low-level time and frequency domains. These features can highlight the differences between different genres. In the model, feature selection is performed using a genetic algorithm (GA), and the resulting dataset is classified using the k-nearest neighbor (KNN), naive Bayes classifier (NBC), and support vector machine (SVM) learning methods. Tenfold cross-validation is used to obtain the optimal f-measure value. In this study, the data were obtained from the GTZAN genre collection datasets. In the performance evaluation, it was found that the GA-based feature selection strategy can improve the F-measure rate from 5% to 20% for the KNN, NBC, and SVM-based algorithms. In addition, the proposed SVM-GA algorithm can exactly better than other comparison algorithms.

The challenge of the development of cloud computing technology is to design a system with openstack as the software platform for the cloud, the ubuntu server as the operating system uses virtualization with virtualbox in order to obtain a capable system before being implemented to a physical server in the laboratory room in order to increase the efficiency of lectures. aimed at meeting the needs for practicum activities for students at the PBI campus so that they can taste and explore cloud computing technology so that they have additional knowledge to face the revolution of industrial 5.0.
Teknologi Cloud Computing dengan layanan Private Cloud Storage merupakan dan menjadi sebuah jawaban untuk permasalahan yang sering terjadi dikehidupan kita sehari-hari yaitu pada permasalahan penggunaan perangkat penyimpanan fisik seperti memory card, flashdisk dan harddisk dimana data-data yang ada didalamnya sering terjadi kerusakan seperti kerusakan fisik perangkat, terkena bad sector, terkena virus, perangkat hilang dan lain sebagainya seperti yang sering terjadi pada mahasiswa dan mahasiswi Politeknik Bisnis Indonesia Murni Sadar Pematangsiantar. Teknologi Cloud Storage yang akan dirancang bersifat private hanya untuk kalangan kampus dan pada jaringan lokal kampus yang tersedia. Perancangan sistem yang akan dilakukan menggunakan virtualisasi dengan Oracle VM VirtualBox. Sistem operasi menggunakan Ubuntu Server 14.04.6 LTS, Web Server menggunakan Apache2, DBMS (Database Management System) menggunakan Mariadb, Interpreter menggunakan PHP dan Content Management System (CMS) menggunakan Owncloud. Setelah perancangan sistem dilakukan kemudian sistem tersebut diimplementasikan pada VirtualBox setelah itu dilakukan pengujian sistem terhadap akses data ke sistem dengan Smartphone dan komputer sehingga didapatkan sebuah sistem yang dapat berjalan dan berfungsi dengan baik agar dapat meningkatkan efisiensi perkuliahan.

Electronic voting or e-voting is the usual form of voting used for general elections and polls using electronic media. The shift in the conventional election process in today's technological era utilizes the media for polling, one of which is short message service (SMS). The use of Short Message Service (SMS) technology can now be utilized for voting because it is supported by many factors including availability, speed, security and accuracy of data generated. Voting Based on Short Message Service (SMS) and relatively cheap costs so as to make it easier for users, both voting participants and voting implementers, to be more optimal.
