The article deals with the specific principles of information provisioning of the motivation for scientific and pedagogical workers. Their place and role allowed to find out the model of information provisioning of the motivation for scientific and faculty staff at the research type university on the example of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. Each component of the model is delineated and analyzed in details. The obtained results of pedagogical observation are generalized and systematized; methods of system analysis and modelling were used. Based on the presented model, an electronic rating interface has been created in the automated university management system. Described how a defined interface provides a universal graphical reporting view to identify achievements and shortcomings in various sections of the work of a scientific and faculty staff of a higher education institution.
