Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah satu siswa kelas VII-A MTs Al-Anwar Paculgowang. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan metode tes dan wawancara. Peneliti menggunakan triangulasi waktu untuk menguji keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan subjek adalah kesalahan konsep yang meliputi kesalahan dalam memahami konsep persegipanjang, konsep luas persegipanjang, serta konsep sisi persegipanjang. Kesalahan prinsip dan operasi tidak dapat diselidiki lebih lanjut karena subjek melakukan kesalahan dalam menerjemahkan soal ke dalam model matematika, sehingga subjek tidak dapat melakukan tahap penyelesaian berikutnya dengan benar.
AbstrakPenelitian ini penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pertidaksamaan pada mata kuliah kalkulus I. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini diambil dari mahasiswa pendidikan matematika Unipdu semester II tahun akademik 2016/2017. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode tes dan metode wawancara. Sebelum peneliti melakukan analisis, peneliti memeriksa keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi waktu agar memperoleh data yang valid. Selanjutnya dari data yang sudah valid baru dianalisis yang kemudian ditarik suatu simpulan. Dari hasil penelitian didapat hasil bahwa 1) Subjek A melakukan 9 jenis kesalahan, yaitu: kesalahan dalam menentukan syarat suatu akar, kesalahan dalam melakukan proses perhitungan, kesalahan menentukan nilai pada suatu garis bilangan, kesalahan menetukan himpunan penyelesaian, kesalahan dalam menentukan tanda interval pada garis bilangan, kesalahan dalam menetukan daerah penyelesaian pada garis bilangan, kesalahan dalam menentukan nilai pembuat nol di ruas kiri (split points), kesalahan dalam menentukan nilai pembuat nol pada garis bilangan, kesalahan tidak melanjutkan proses penyelesaian; 2) Subjek B melakukan 8 jenis kesalahan, jenis
The purpose of this study was to determine the use of interactive multimedia as a learning medium in improving physics learning achievement. This type of research is an experimental design one group pre-test post-test with a quantitative approach. The population in the study were all students of class X semester 2 of SMK Negeri 2 Ende which consisted of 13 classes in 5 skill programs totaling 421 people and the sample of the research was 26 students of TKJ class XC as many as 26 people. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques in this study are achievement test techniques. Data were analyzed by t test. The results showed that the use of interactive multimedia (MMI) as a learning medium can improve physics learning achievement. This is evidenced by the value of t count ˃ t table or 3.491> 1.708 with the degree of freedom to list the distribution t is dk = N-1 = 26-1 = 25, and the significance level is 0.05.
Education plays a very pivotal role for human beings in achieving social welfare, without any discrimination, including children with special needs. The existence of inclusive schools becomes a solution in fulfilling special needs children’s right to education. It is due to the fact that they can learn and socialize with physically and mentally healthy children in inclusive schools. This present study aims to explore the learning concept of Islamic education applied for teaching children with special needs at SD Semai Jepara, one of inclusive schools in Central Java-Indonesia. A qualitative descriptive approach was designed in this research. The findings promote that the implementation of Islamic education at SD Semai Jepara was similar to the one in regular schools. It indicates that the materials taught to the students were just the same. Nonetheless, the teaching methods used in delivering the materials were different. One of the teaching methods employed in teaching Islamic education for the special needs children was parody. Additionally, in certain materials, the children were divided into two learning groups, namely: large and small ones, to enhance the teaching and learning processes. This study also exposes that the teachers are supposed to be as creative as possible in creating appropriate learning atmosphere in teaching Islamic education since there are lots of students with the variety of backgrounds who possess special needs.
