Introdução: A depressão pós-parto é um transtorno mental debilitante com alta prevalência. O objetivo deste estudo foi revisar os estudos relacionados. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo de revisão literaria qualitativa, onde relatamos os fatores de risco da depressão pós-parto por meio de busca no banco de dados Scopus, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Uptodate, Proquest no período de 1997-2018. Foram incluidos artigos publicados sobre os fatores associados à depressão pós-parto em portugûes e inglês. Resultados: A estratégia de busca incluiu uma combinação de palavras-chave incluindo depressão pós-parto e fatores de risco ou história obstétrica, fatores sociais ou fatores biológicos. Considerações Finais: A revisão da literatura mostrou que foram detectados fatores de risco para depressão pós-parto na área de fatores econômicos e sociais, história obstétrica e fatores biológicos, estilo de vida e história de doença mental.
Introdução: Os anticoncepcionais de emergência, conhecidos como “pílulas do dia seguinte”, são da classe de medicamentos utilizados para evitar a gravidez indesejada. O uso excessivo do CE pode acarretar diversos problemas de saúde e deve ser utilizado em ocasiões de extrema necessidade. Objetivo: Observar o uso abusivo dos contraceptivos de emergências e os meses com maiores índices de uso. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, qualitativa com revisão de estudos científicos disponíveis, a fim observar as consequências do uso excessivo e maiores demandas em 10 farmácias do centro do Rio de Janeiro a fim de registrar os meses com maior índice de compra. Considerações Finais: Foram observados a consequência do uso abusivo, as contra indicações e doenças ligadas a esse abuso. O tema é de extrema importância e deve ser mais abordado em pesquisas científicas. Com base no material coletado foi possível concluir que a sazonalidade de compras ocorreu entre o mês de fevereiro e novembro de forma esporádica.
