En este trabajo se indaga en las trayectorias biográficas, redes sociales y obras de los autores para establecer las similitudes y vías d e contacto que pudieron conducir a su diálogo poético. Al centrarnos en estos poetas diletantes, que se movieron en círculos letrados principales, participaron en tertulias y academias y establecieron relaciones clientelares con nobles de gran relevancia política y cultural -el marqués de Távora, el conde de Ericeira, el cardenal Luís de Sousa, el duque de Montellano…-, el estudio ahonda en sus perfiles al tiempo que desvela un amplio panorama de las relaciones hispano-portuguesas de las décadas finales del siglo xvii y primera mitad del xviii. En este trabajo presentamos la trayectoria de un personaje literario del siglo XVIII que se convierte en fingido autor de almanaques burlescos y aparece en varias obras de diferente autoría publicadas entre 1737 y 1745. La reiteración de motivos y el diálogo intertextual entre los almanaques permite ampliar nuestro conocimiento sobre las prácticas editoriales y los pronósticos burlescos, especialmente en relación con las estrategias autoriales y con la respuesta a su recepción; asimismo, suscita sugerentes interrogantes para el desarrollo de trabajos futuros.
